By the time we play them I can hear it now. They will lose to a mid major. Have a couple key players on the shelf with mystery injuries. Somebody's gonna be mad about promised playing time. Somebody's going nna be in their ear telling them their not playing their natural position. Gonna come to Rupp and get spanked and the coach is gonna say well UK is so experienced and older we're too young to win a game like that right now.

Maybe but those thinking he doesn’t care about wins or losses at Arkansas is wrong when it comes to UK. Narcissistic people don’t change like that. I don’t think UK spanks them. I think it’ll be a hard fought win for UK decided towards the end when Cal starts his stall ball.

I hope so, nothing would be better than Pope spanking dat a$$. The real question l wonder about is, who are the refs going to help out? UK or Cal. What a dilemma for the refs of the SEC.

Will be interesting to see if the ref hat was truly JUST Cal or if it was UK.

I don't think Pope has any overly striped enemies outside of our usual foes (Valentine, Shows, Adams). So I'm curious to see if a coach change makes calls any better at times, especially at home (SEC calls will ALWAYS suck on the road).

When Cal wants to he can have his team ready to beat anyone, we've seen those wins over UNC and Kansas.

It will be a great game, but I would be stunned if Arkansas came in here and was beaten soundly. It will be a weird situation, not just with Cal but also with former players. Also the stands will be filled with former Cal UK guys and former Pitino guys. Probably the hardest ticket get already in college basketball.

I just hope the UK players are up for it - no matter what anyone says, it is not just another game. A talented team, playing sound, fundamental basketball will beat a Calipari coached team. If you play to Arkansas Cal hype, you get into trouble.

I think we'll get off to a hot start and take a good size lead and Ark coaching staff will have no answers to stop us. They will probably go on a couple mini runs but our coaches will put a quick stop to them. Good guys by 10.

I hope he hasn't been battling anything, and I know it's been 30 years since he was in his prime at Arkansas, but he looks like he's aged from more than just his birthdays.

Wagner doesn’t bother me. Definitely hurt to lose Theiro and Z to them (cal) as neither made sense. Theiro entered portal before cal ever left and poor Z doesn’t realize cal has zero clue on how to best utilize his skill set. Oh well!!!
