We all know the story. His Dad played for Cal. Very highly ranked coming out of HS.
But I have not seen him poubt one time. Plays unselfish. By all accounts is a good teammate. Seems to root for his mates when he is on the bench.
Plays hard.
You don't always see the HS All-American kids show these attributes.

Or look at the box score in the Lexington Herald Leader the day after a game?

It always seems like a victory over UNC appeases the competitive bloodlust of our fan base, at least for two weeks or so.

Cal is presently 7-4 against UNC as the UK head coach.

Gotta get this win. We're 17-25 all-time against UNC. Got to close that gap even more.

How much does a victory over UNC next week satisfy your competitive itch?

Conversely, how much does a loss to UNC dampen the excitement for this young Kentucky team?

IMO, quite a step down. Yenser was main recruiter. Our OL depth is pretty bad. Desperately need some good, solid bodies to build on. Gotta get Hall healthy as a first step but still need more, either HS recruits or transfers or both.

So they play Mississippi Valley State tonight.

Gonzaga is currently 35th in the NET.

MVSU is 362nd out of 362.

I’ll be interested to see what happens to both teams computer rankings after this game.

Gonzaga will try to beat them by 100 if they can(as they should frankly, considering the net is the selection committees prime resource during the selection process and it rewards margin of victory)

Thought this would be of interest here. Have watched some of this, the best interview with Knight I've seen. In the interview, Knight says he does not respect John Wooden because of Sam Gilbert. I thought that was interesting. I wonder if Coach Rupp or other coaches ever addressed that issue?

“Per eligible season” means if the Panthers been in Charlotte 30 years and the Hornets/Bobcats been there 34 years then that is 64 seasons (and 0 Championships)

We've learned a lot about Nicholson over these past couple of years from when we interacted with him as a JUCO recruit through now.

Here's a bunch of info on Nicholson dating back to HS through JUCO and MSU.

Last time we did a portal spotlight like this it was Trayanum and he committed the next day.

There is a thread about Will Levis because one of our comrades jumped the gun, but how about Wandale tonight. He balled out and was a big contributor to a big upset on Monday Night Football. So, both MNF games ended in upsets, and UK guys played big parts in both. Go Cats.
