About one and a half minutes into the game, my wife walked into the room and asked if I was going to be calm during the game or if I was going to be crazy. I told her I’d probably be crazy because I had the feeling we were going lose. It just had that feel to it from the get go. I hate that. He doesn't have to be a world beater when he's out there be he has to be a hell of a lot more efficient than he has been against the better competition. Have to make shots or get the other players involved. You can't be bad at both when the competition gets tougher.

I'm not able to see the game, so I don't know if Clemson's physicality is lending to the poor three point shooting.

He finally blocked a shot but giving straight drives from the guards at the rim and being a little soft with the ball on O.mayhe he can turn it around this last 3:30.

Butler only played 19 minutes … that was the game.

Both have been a problem since day 1 and I'm not seeing a lick of improvement.

I knew our bad ft shooting was going to get us and it was one of 3 things that got us tonight.

We get an F on rebounding, F on free throws and an F on three point shooting. You can't fail at that many things and expect to beat anyone with a pulse.

Our guys ball watch when shots go up and they've done it in all 8 games. Mark Pope is a smart guy, why has he not fixed this? Why are seniors ball watching? Why are seniors misding free throws at this rate?

This is not a good Clenson team and I don't want to hear about the refs, the refs didn't miss free throws and the refs didn't stand there and ball watch instead of getting into position to rebound.

The refs didn't leave the best 3 point shooter in the game on the bench when we needed points.

Asked about if he’s looking forward to the first road game tomorrow and he said he guesses, it’ll be like any other road game he’s ever been in. Poor guy doesent have a clue yet lol

I will turn 57 in less than a month. I have been a Kentucky fan my whole life and the first team I can remember well is the 75 runner-up. This is the most I have enjoyed watching the Wildcats. It seems like the players are enjoying each other other and it seems like they are appreciative to have the opportunity to play for Kentucky. They are playing for the name on the front and for Big Blue Nation. No coach since Joe Hall understands what Kentucky is about until Mark Pope became the coach. They are fun to watch and they hustle like guys wearing the Kentucky jersey should.

one of the best things to reinvigorate the intrastate rivalry. Since 2013, UK has lost only two games in the series. Whether anyone else is willing to admit it or not, a re-energized and competitive annual showdown is what makes a great rivalry. One-sided affairs don’t.
