Sumrall only makes one million at Tulane . You get a set off if stoops coaches elsewhere . Paying him Nine million a year was AD malpractice but we are stuck with it.
He can find a job where he makes the going rate of a mediocre coach of five million. Offer Sumrall 4 million . If he pans out he knows th sky is the limit. Yes we have to pay Stoops four million a year until his contract expires . We even save a million by paying eight million until stoops contract expires instead of nine .

It also has the advantages of not having a joker like erosion of twenty thousand paying customers . So Stoops cmtract is not hopeless . Just takes some creativity.

Stoops claims hes keeping the offensive staff for continuity. News flash, continuing terrible just leads to more terrible. We had 2 key offensive recruits flip and saunders plus more are undoubtedly about to flip.

I would still want him gone if he made $4-5 million.

Realistically what would MB have to offer Stoops to walk away? Is Stoops in it for the money only or does his pride really want him to right the ship?

I have unfortunately had to cancel my yearly subscription…..I won’t be able to afford to pay for it due to a new house purchase which will be taking all of my money (mortgage payment, bills, etc.... I’ll for sure miss everyone on here Hope everyone has a good Christmas and new years!

First of all I never use the term NIL. No one is being paid for their name. It’s a complete farce.

People all around the program are talking about our lack of leadership and culture shift. While I blame the coaches most for that, could money have played a big part??
It’s crazy how the guys we threw cash at did absolutely nothing.
BVG was probably the highest paid and was a complete bust.
Walker was probably second. He played the first three games and quit. Didn’t hear his name called the second half of the season.
Brown was probably third. I always thought he was a team cancer from the moment I saw him dancing and playing tag/games at open practice. Never got any better than his freshman year.
Chip was probably next. Hurt and too slow to ever have been an SEC back.
That’s roughly our top 5 paid guys supplying jack squat.
I know even Bama is struggling to keep guys motivated that have full pockets. We have been the worst at it.

He needs thousands of emails with the subject line “Jon Sumrall NOW” in his mailbox when he gets to the office in the morning. If that’s how he supposedly gauges fan opinion, let’s show him what we think. It’s time to go full Aggie and Will this into existence.

Congrats to the Volleyball team on getting #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Also congrats to Brooklyn Deleye on being named SEC POY. Emma Grome 1st team All SEC, Molly Touzzo 2nd team, & both Asia Thigpin and Brooke Bultema on the SEC All freshman team. Oh and I forgot Coach Skinner was named Coach of the Year in the SEC.
