Make me feel better about Tuesday night!!

Flagg hasnt exactly dominated mid majors so far, 15ppg on 44% shooting, Carr is 11ppg on only 5 fg attempts a game.

Knueppel has been on fire , 18 ppg , over 50% from 3...... well Brea has been even better ..

Maluach and Williams are doing about the same, both 70% fg... the difference is Williams' passing.

Proctor is a good 3pt shooter but mostly takes 3's... Robinson is also a good 3pt shooter but takes it inside a little more so far this season.

Foster, James, Brown Gillis vs Butler, Kriisa, Oweh , Almonor and Garrison. I think our guys can hold their own vs theirs

I really think its shaping up to be is Duke hitting their 3's and is Flagg shooting a ton of FT's vs is UK hitting their 3's and are our starters forcing turnovers

POLITICAL THREAD

If you are suggesting that people who illegally invaded our country will start shooting if the government takes steps to deport them, then that is all the more reason why they need to go.

This. Shoot them in the head if they shoot at our officers doing their jobs. They are illegal and do not have a right to be here.

After beating mauling Bucknell and Wright State, I too believe we go undefeated and win the National Championship.

Hence the cautious optimism but short of a few plays in the Bucknell game (Butler's behind the back pass, most of anything Chandler did in the game, Garrison getting trigger happy) this team has been under control offensively and really sound defensively.

You can also tell they are taking the goal of offensive rebounding to heart.

We may not beat Duke, but I don't think we get run and, if we do, it'll be because we went cold from outside and not because:

A.) We played the least efficient lineup the majority of minutes because
B.) We promised players time before the season started, handcuffing our bench, which lead to
C.) Sporadically calling timeouts and screaming at our players, which lead to
D.) Forgetting a player was hot and got benched, because
E.) We weren't tough enough, and
F.) Didn't make smart plays, so
G.) I haven't seen him

And for that, I'm extremely grateful.

I'll wait to see how they look when they are back to full strength. I know they're still missing Brazile, Graham, and Menifield. I know Brazile could be a significant contributor but I'm not sure when he's expected to return. With Calipari, there is no telling, and it will probably be a month longer than expected.

Having said this, the article points out something that was always an issue with Calipari's teams. They're usually more naturally talented than their opponents- usually a step quicker and better athletes, so they usually clear out and allow guys to just do their thing. This leads to few assists and a bunch of tough shots, guarded shots which lead to low FG%. We've all seen it. In years where you have some elite talents, you can play with most anyone. In years where the talent is more equal, you struggle. But the thing that is almost always missing is a lot of teamwork and working to create shots for each other. That is what I see on this UK team already. These guys are working for each other and they are creating shots for each other. I love what I'm seeing so far. As of now, I would agree that UK looks like the better team.
They've got a full roster going
