Carr was actually one of the players in the portal I wanted most as he seemed to perfectly fill the Stretch 4 role we'd so desperately been longing for under Cal. Was in a good mood all night at work after checking my phone to see that he'd committed. Happy to see him deliver in such a big game.

Most offensive minded teams when they get frustrated and taken out of their game lose intensity and energy on defense and get blown out. This team did the opposite

This team could've folded when Duke went up double digits early in the second half, but they turned up the defense and made it tough for Duke to get easy shots and our veteran lineup bowed their backs and just found a way to win. I have Hope in Pope!!
