Duke had a good game plan

Honestly I'm impressed we were able to score 77 because Duke's defense looked really, really good.

Duke isn't going away this year, unfortunately.
We aren't going away either. Kentucky's second half defense held Duke to about 30% shooting. So, I am not sure I understand your reason for acting like Kentucky got a lucky win. We didn't play anywhere near as good as we can.

Really ESPN?

The funny thing was that you could tell how the game was going for Duke by how much Bilas was talking. The whole first half and up to about the 9 minute mark of the second half he couldn't keep his mouth shut then as the momentum turned he started talking less and less. At the end, you could tell he was disappointed just by the tone of his voice and the lack of excitement in his voice. Not saying it was a bias issue I just found it kind of funny.
Lol. Bilas was speechless when we started that run and Duke had no answer.

Duke had nothing left in the tank with about 5-6 minutes to go, and Bilas knew it.

Most satisfying win since?

Im going to say since winning at Kansas a few yrs ago.
But this one is even more satisfying than that one so Im going to say since beating Houston in the S16 in 2019.
But Im personally even more satisfied with this one than Houston.
2014 Semis v Wisconsin.

Thats it.

What say you Big Blue?
Last year's last win: upsetting UT in Knoxville to secure the double bye was pretty sweet. As someone mentioned above, turned out it was fools' gold

Cooper Flagg

Happy as hell we won. But, I really liked that Flagg kid. He didn’t come off as your typical Dook kid we have all come to dislike. Seems hard nosed at a very young age. He is the kind of kid I can root for, as long as they aren’t playing our Cats.
That is unless I missed something. Last 8 minutes of the first half was laying my son down and got back right at halftime. So maybe something happened I didn’t see.
really good game for a 17 year old kid
plenty of talent & plays hard

Could Jon Sumrall be the football team's Mark Pope?

Sumrall checks all the boxes in what you would be looking for IMO. The thing with replacing Stoops is, if this was his third year here he would likely be gone after this season, but because he has been here 11 years with some success along the way it makes it more difficult notwithstanding the money that's involved.

Disrespect

I know they don’t care, but having the entire highlight reel be Duke highlights, when Duke lost, 24 hours later, is a good way to get fans of the winning team to stop even bothering to watch.

It’s silly, and just…not good marketing. The Duke fan base is limited. Highlight packages should focus on the winning team. So the fans of the winning team keep watching.

What was up with the stupid Duke fans hand gestures last night?

It’s a signal to the refs that if you want that bag of cash you better start blowing that whistle. If you watch the play where Flaggs’ hand goes out of bounds, his foot had already been on the line. The ref, Joe Lindsey, standing there looking right at it, wasn’t going to call it then the obvious happened and he had to. Check it and see.
