Someone is so threatened by my posts that he felt the need to go through and highlight every typo. I'm trying to imagine the level of insecurity one must have to resort to this kind of activity.

One would think that if you read my post you would understand that even with the typos, my reasons for concern with the MAGA movement are very legitimate and hardly a symptom of being close minded.

Maybe if they love the game enough as well as their college. It still keeps them in the limelight and being relevant. He's still young so maybe he would have the desire to prove himself in another facet of the game. Larry Bird was rich yet coached the Pacers for several years before moving to the front office with his aching back. There have been others who have moved on to coaching after their careers.

As far as Sports movies go, it's kinda difficult because even the best have a difficult time recreating the sports to seem realistic. A lot of times it comes across fairly cheesy, which is why most of my favorites are the comedies that you understand are going to be cheesy going in. But for the more serious movies, it would have to be the Rocky movies, Rudy, Field of Dreams and Hoosiers. As for the Comedy, There's, Major League, The Waterboy, The Longest Yard, The Sandlot and some of the old Nostalgic Bad News Bears movies.

Not sure you got the responses you were looking for with the title of this thread. You don't build this in one of the fastest growing residential counties in the state. You build this along I 64/65 or further up 71. I agree the state is backwards in its economic growth but this does not make sense.

At least Arenas has some legit star cred. What really had me shaking my head was seeing a scrub chucker like friggin Nick Young singling out Mark Price and Craig Ehlo (who he mispronounces as igloo) as guys who supposedly couldn’t play today. I couldn’t keep watching after that nonsense.

That idiot has no clue what he’s talking about. He’s just operating on the assumption that “well, they were white Americans so they must’ve sucked…”

It still depends on WHICH 2-3 guys are lost. Last year the problem wasn't just that 4 guys (Butler, Kriisa, Jax, Car) were injured for significant amounts of time, it's that 3 of them were the top 3 guys at the PG position. In addition, 3 of them were starters.

I don't care which team you are talking about, no on weathers that storm without it having a huge impact on the team's success.

If the 24-25 team had lost 3 guys that were totally different positions (i.e. Kriisa, Carr, Almonor - 2 starters and a depth piece) depth would've suffered, but they could've still stayed strong. If THAT happens, the depth of the 25-26 should be able to weather that a lot better.
