POLITICAL THREAD

Tin foil hat activated. Only tuned into channel Trump. Bet you can't wait till Trump opens up a compound in Guyana where you all can get away from the bad people in the government and media telling lies about Dear Leader. Heard the bar down there serves some tasty Kool Aid.
Can a man have a baby? Your side that controls 2/3 of the Govt says that he can. Who wears the tin foil hat?

POLITICAL THREAD

Does The power of evil make trump phuck hookers while married, stiff contractors, file bankruptcy 7 times, lie, cheat, steal and brag his ass off????
I normally never engage an obvious democrat voter but I will make an exception to ask you this question.
Which one of these 4 umbrellas do you stand under?
• You support the LGBQ community
• You depend on free handouts from my tax dollars and want the government to pay off your loans
• You believe in the climate change hoax
• You rejoice in the slaughter of innocent babies right up to being born

If you are an American and want this country to thrive, and none of the above apply to you, why would anyone vote democrat?

I don’t like everything Trump says. The name calling being one of them. But to vote democrat just because Trump has offended you, is just childish. Then again, maybe you want this country to fail.
BTW, welcome to the ignore list.

Big Upsets - what it means

Transfer market and the retirement of good top-end recruiter/ coaches is starting to show through.
It's funny the first season that there's 12 teams allowed and all the historically good teams start losing.
There will be teams that get in with three losses. Kentucky could be one.
Win every game except losing one to Tennessee or Texas.

Puke big man Patrick Ngongba out indefinitely

I see how you left the most important part of what was said out so you could be condescending.
What I responded to said 18-20 years olds, which all these guys are. Plenty of that age have been handed a weapon and asked to die. I was one of them. That’s what makes them not children. Demanding 500k for their services now gives them great responsibility. Put those two together and you’re not a child anymore.

Definitely not a child. Still wouldn’t call someone under 25 an adult either.

1-12: child
13-18: teenager/adolescent
18-25: young adult
25+: adult

That’s what I typically think anyway. Thanks for taking the time to read and hope everyone will respect my opinion. GBB!

#15 Louisville falls at home to SMU 34-27 ( Overrated as usual )

After over a century of playing in weaker conferences and having moderate success (nothing worth noting really), they are finally in a power 5 (albeit one of the weakest in football) conference and finding it not so palatable. Such an entitled group of whiners they are.
Their picture is in Wekipedia under cry babies

Big Upsets - what it means

Yeah, the inevitability of talent spreading, parity growing, via portal and NIL is starting to really show.

What we're seeing now is why I never understood how so many people were so staunchly against all the changes. Almost religiously. Especially the middle and lower tier programs and fans. Though they may never have the money, resources, facilities, or even NIL capabilities but they were always going to benefit from more freedom of movement talent now has.

Alabama will always have more resources, willingness to spend them on football, history, tradition, pomp and circumstance, etc... which will keep them in play for the first layer of talent. Starters, elite recruits, freshmen, redshirt freshmen.

The difference in this era now will be once those elite recruits realize they're not going to play as much of a role as they wanted after a year or two in program, they're going to bounce.

The crying shame of eras past was not the wealth, facilities, recruiting budgets, etc. It was QB rooms stuffed with 5* kids who could play somewhere else. It was special teams full of linebackers, TEs, WRs who could have gone and made significant contributions at other programs.

Then there's the talent that was playing at lower tier programs who can level up and go somewhere without sitting out a year and going through all that.

All that talent is blossoming all across the college landscape now.

I think it also means something for betting, lines...vegas. I'm sure they're on top of it and will adjust better than anyone with all the resources they have to dig into it all.

Right now though there's been some head scratching, goofy f8cking lines. Again, adjustment period just like everyone else involved.

Going forward though I think we're going to see a change in betting. Things at the P4 level at least will most likely trend more towards NFL.

You can't give programs 10, 15, 20 points anymore.

Kentucky leads the United States in sugar consumption

If you guys hate the FDA’s prioritization of profit, and want healthy children in America, wait until you hear about the #MAHA movement!

Thankfully we’ve got some people heavily involved in one of the POTUS campaigns who are putting the health of children above everything else.

Giving smaller portions of inedible “food” to children is not going to improve their health no matter what any president’s wife tells you.

Can We Ban the Name Calipari from this Board?

To answer the op question, it would be fine with me. Can’t stand the man and don’t even consider him a past UK coach.

But i bet you puff your chest out and brag about the national title and 4 final fours.

Or should we vacate those and go back to 7 national titles and 13 final fours?

Can't stand him either and glad he's gone but it's goofy to act like we didn't accomplish anything positive in his tenure.

Bama's defense the last 6 quarters - 67 points

I feel like one thing with staying in lanes is also the outside rush not getting too far upfield. I feel like there have been so many times that our outside rush goes too aggressively, and the opposing OTs just ride them past the QB, and then a wide rush lane opens between the OG and OT allowing the QB to run free.

Especially considering how good the push up the is with Deone & others, the edge guys need to maintain discipline and allow the pocket to collapse from all angles
True, UK will have to play "assignment football" something Alabama did not do. Players stay home, defend their lanes and not play "hero ball" they should do fine. Would keep a spy on their QB tho.

Bama's defense the last 6 quarters - 67 points

I think Jerry Kill, their OC, is a really good coach. Has won as a HC at several stops and stepped back when he had serious health problems (cancer? I can't remember). But, he'll scheme up something difficult for UK to handle if we aren't super disciplined on defense. If we have guys who don't play their responsibility, we'll have a lot of trouble with VU's offense. Have to maintain our rush lanes to keep Pavia in the pocket. Can't get caught looking into the backfield or a misdirection play or a double move on the outside will cost us points. If our DL consistently gets penetration and pressure, we can stop them. That will be the key, imo.
Kill is actually a "Senior Advisor", OC is Tim Beck. Kill is experienced, long time coach. While HC at Minnesota he suffered rounds of Epilepsy that resulted in seizures that caused him to step away from the game. Managed to get that under control now and is making major contrubutions.
