UK fans are clowns. Crack's me up when I see posts calling IU fans hillbillies and inbred. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! LOL. And you all wonder why EVERYONE outside your state hates your program. This business about Assembly Hall being dangerous is rubbish and you all know it. All this talk is based on a report of some UK white-trash hillbilly porn star fan who broke a nail at the conclusion of the game. I was there. Yes the place erupted as any arena would after the home team hits a buzzer beater to win the game against a hated rival. There were some UK fans near me and no one paid any attention to them as they exited quietly. Cal just doesn't want to play in a rabid basketball environment. UK would rather continue to rack up wins against the joke of a league SEC foes in half empty arenas where everyone is asleep waiting for football season. As anyone with a clue about the history of college basketball understands, you wouldn't have the all-time wins lead if you played in a real conference. You would be lucky to have half those all-time wins if you played in the Big Ten. Your sorry team definitely would not have been undefeated entering the tournament this past season had you played in a major conference. Watching Wisconsin take you out was very satisfying. You think everyone is scared to play your team but really UK and it's redneck fan base provide entertainment to the rest of the country. So come on back to reality, and take your sister out somewhere real nice tonight for dinner!

Does it crack you up sheep molester? 1987 beastalityoosier

Yeah that never happens in the student section at any other arena. And if anyone deserves it, it's UK fans. Just ask the rest of the country. You guys are the laughing stock of college basketball. LOL

Keep telling yourself that sheep boy - you've convinced yourself.

1987 - were you plugging sheep back then or were you just a glint in your daddy's shear shank?

This shows how little you know. The only sellouts at those arenas are when UK comes to town. They each have their stupid T-shirt promotions for when UK visits:

@Vandy - Black out
@MSU - Maroon out
@Tennessee - Orange out
....etc.

I'm sure other Big 10 schools did the same thing with Ocean Pacific t-shirts when IU was relevant.

Come on fella's, with the schedule of a modern athlete, or the workload of a demanding student degree program, do you all really not think that even the great University of Kentucky does not have set of classes less demanding?
UNC has (had) its AFA studies, duke has theirs, UK is bound to have something.
I was not so naive to think UNC was pure and still compete.
So, lets get over the "cheat" tag. UNC and UK provide a great annual event between two like schools.

UNC*** has Fake classes. Not easy...not less demanding...FAKE

I hope the rivalry is renewed. I was and am fine with playing all of the games at Lucas Oil Stadium. 40,000 fans and a national TV audience! I was fortunate to be able to go to the games at the Dome and at Freedom Hall (just twice) and it was a blast. Equal fan sections, a record national TV audience, just a great environment. We shall see......

I am 47 and no longer consider iu a rival. Some of the older UK generation still hate iu enough to want to play this game. IU striking lightning in a bottle and having a good team once in 30 years is just no fun to play. Why would UK want to play IU? Can you give me 5 good reasons??

I now take more pleasure in not playing iu than beating them. Kentucky is not going to help you get any national exposure. We have moved on. UK is damn sure not going to play again on IU's terms. IU has no one to blame but themselves. The AD, coach, and the adults who claim to be responsible and respect the game should have stopped the bad beahvior. No excuse!!!! IU's president writing an apology letter does not change the way many UK fans feel. There are other teams to play. GBB

Hoosier Daddy aka Duh Bull = Self-pleasuring homoerotic Facebook creeper of 52 year old men - don't spank it all in one place.

That's an old photo, you should ask him for an updated picture to wank to.

Just had to find out what creepy individual is so obsessed with calling people inbred. I figured its kinda like the closet homosexuals calling people gay. Just glad you're a kid and not a grown man, that'd be extremely pathetic though it's still weird as hell.

We are the laughing stock of college basketball? Or your Coach who is now a verb?

Your fans are not the team. Although your response explains a lot as many have a hard time separating their own personal shortcomings from the basketball teams success.

Crean and IU's AD didn't want to play on a neutral floor. With the lack of class IU's fans showed at the last game played I hope UK never plays them again.

IU put on their big boy pants and tried to dictate the terms of where games would be played and got wedgied. IU should schedule UL they are perfect for each other.

So you go onto another teams board, create an account(s) for the express purpose of trolling, post over 40 messages, creep onto Facebook, come back with a photo of my 52 year old father, use it as your avatar, then accuse someone else of being obsessed? What's next, posting photos of my toddler?

Newsflash: you're clinical, all of the above and a whole lot more. Just how many other accounts are you posting under the same IP addresses?

I am truly amazed that the mighty Big Blue Nation is afraid that if they go back to Bloomington their fans, coaches or players might be in danger because of court storming. The high and mighty Cats are afraid of court storming? If I am not mistaken, the crowd only storms the court if their team wins. Since Kentucky is such a powerhouse why would the BBN be afraid--that COULDN'T happen again or could it?

Facts are inconvenient truths when they contradict one's point of view. Lets look at a few of those facts. Some on this board ignore these type facts, making the argument that scheduling IU would lower their RPI. That is not borne out by research on college basketball RPI. According to NCAA.com (as of April 7, 2015), here are some schools on the Cats schedule last year and their RPIs: Grand Canyon-279, Boston U-161, Montana State-323, UT, Arlington-180, Eastern Kentucky-142, and Colombia-201. Incidentally IU's RPI was 63.

Another fact, as provided by Realtime RPI.com power conference ratings, is that the mighty Southeastern Conference ranks 6th, behind most other major conferences. The ratings are 1. Big 12, 2. Big East, 3. ACC, 4. Big 10, 5. Pac 12, 6. Southeastern.

One last fact, to illustrate the weakness of the powerful SEC, here are the rankings of the SEC schools that have a lower RPI than IU: LSU-65, Tex A&M-68, Fla-69,Alabama-86, Vandy-88, S. Carolina-97, Tenn-102, Auburn-132, Miss St.-216, Missouri-218.

Funny how inconvenient some facts are, isn't it?
Here's another fact:

Their fan BASE IS a MAGGOT COLONY!
And calling any group of people a "MAGGOT COLONY" makes you what?

I would love to start playing them home and home again. I hate the fact that sports have become so driven by money. There are plenty of IU fans around me and I would love to have a reason to make fun of them every year. I use to love when we played them in Freedom Hall. My favorite IU game ever was when Mike Davis went crazy and got ejected. That game had electricity. I know the fans stormed the court in Bloomington in 2011. Our fans aren't al

Hanner Perea is a native of Colombia. If he was to get truly wasted, I'm pretty sure it would be on something stronger than Colt 45!
This pic was snapped shortly before this.

MONROE COUNTY (Feb. 14, 2014) – Indiana University sophomore forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea was arrested and booked in the Monroe County Jail after police say he was driving drunk early Friday morning.

The 6’9” forward was pulled over for operating a vehicle while intoxicated around 4:45 a.m. His blood alcohol level was 0.15, nearly twice the legal limit to drive in Indiana, according to officials from the Monroe County Jail

Troll all you like Clappers but, UK doesn't need you...you bring nothing to the table and your desperation is soooo entertaining! Just keep begging for UK to throw you a bone, table scraps or anything. You morons made your bed, now you can lie in it and waste away.
You had your chance back in March. Win three games and you could have had your shot at UK. Couldn't manage it could you? How ironic that another team from the Loosier state did.

Where exactly is your program ranked in your own state now? Behind ND, Purdue, Valpo, maybe even behind E-ville and ISU? How's that "movement" working out for you guys?

In the last six seasons:
  • Kentucky has 22 tournament wins.
  • Indiana has 4 tournament wins.
Just not a quality opponent.

Peegs is on fire right now. Sounds like they have their deepest team ever, with about 2 or 3 McDonald's All-Americans. They're even considering doing hockey lines.
I think it'll be a quality win against a team outside of the top 25.

There's a poll on this board that answers your question , the vast majority of UK fans don't even want the series anymore and would rather play another program .

That's understandable given how one sided the game has become , add in the jealous driven hatred by IU and there's no benefit to be had from UK's standpoint .

IU wants this game because it still means something to them , it's common for the losing team of a one sided rivalry to care more than the dominate team does . The last time this game meant something to me was the 80's , we've been thumping Indiana for so many decades that I don't even care anymore .

Get good again and then maybe the series should restart but we should pick up a better program to play until or even if that ever happens .

They could be a top 25 team next season. Doesn't matter to me, though. I don't want our players on the same court with them. Their fans are largely a collection of hot, stinking garbage.

Dont worry rfreed let them enjoy their team. Its literally the only good thing most on here have going on in their lives. Such is life in the state of Kentucky.

Indiana. Known for white trash and the birth of the KKK.

What are you going to do next? Claim Brad stevens and butler? Indiana lol.
