I’m not sure what you are saying, but it sounds like you individually value some SEC games more highly than you value season long success. That is a recipe for an all or nothing approach, being disgruntled or else getting too excited too early in the season.Doesn't matter much IMO. I'd rather beat Florida and finish 5-7 than go 2-6 in the SEC and go to whatever bowl at 6-6 (for example).
Because there are just so many postseason games now, I don't know that many bowls are considered prestigious anyway (other than the obvious choices).
GBB!!!
That's easy---a more prestigious bowl usually means a better season overall.
I would rather lose in the National Championship Game than win the MCB
I think the music win would be better for the cats, a more prestigious bowl would be fun, but at the end of season and over time wins are counted and remembered and what bowls not so much.get to and win the music city bowl or get to a more prestigious like peach bowl and lose??
We would probably have more wins by default to even get to the prestigious bowl, probably be a wash.I think the music win would be better for the cats, a more prestigious bowl would be fun, but at the end of season and over time wins are counted and remembered and what bowls not so much.
The exposure matters a lot. More money and you are taken more seriously. South Carolina had played Michigan 2 or 3 bowls in recent years. And they are viewed more favorably nationally. No one seems to remember that we've run off 4 in a row on them.
