You are responsible, but tons aren't. Hence, the mandate is necessary. If everyone were as responsible as you, it wouldn't be needed.

Why is it that everyone is going to die later, after the pandemic is over instead of during the crisis. You make is sound as if we were all okay until suddenly people disagree with your opinion.
Nothing personal but I don't get these kind of post. Everyone just shut up and blindly believe what you want to believe or you're going to throw out that not only are they going to die, but their family too. Meanwhile doing things your way hasn't done anything to end the pandemic anymore that any other persons opinion. We’ve got some cases but nothing out of the ordinary. Western state had some positives and a construction site in oak grove had some a few weeks ago. Stop posting misinformation.

Look at the date on these, that is early on, just like I stated.
Masks would “in theory” help mitigate the spread, when used properly.
You know what else would help?
Sending a blood panel kit to every household in the US.
I’d wager that the percentage those that would get used correctly would mirror the percentage of masks that do.

One of the manliest things a man can do is protect others, especially your family.
I don't know how much they help, but I wear one when going to a store or other crowded places.
If you think they're worthless, then godspeed. I've never told anyone I've seen without a mask to put one on because it's not really my business. I'll just steer clear of them.
However, what isn't cool is calling people scared or p*ssies if they DO believe they help because they're just trying to protect themselves and others and that's the height of macho IMO.
A heart doctor I know and he is a real good doctor in Lawton says that it is not as bad as being reported. Bunch of weirdo's listening to agenda driven news are the ones I can't take serious.

More and more the younger is getting into the death count. The precentage can change real quick.
Here is an idea. If you see me, or someone else without a 'mask' on, just do your judging from 6 feet away. Problem solved.

Not sure what it sounds like. It's fairly muffled behind that virtue signaling piece of cloth.
A few years back my Mom had a serious medical issue. She went to 3 different doctors and 2 hospitals for it. They were all real and we paid for their services. She was misdiagnosed at all places by all doctors. It was actually a nurse practioner that figured out she had a ruptered ulcer. If she had gone 24 more hours without fixing it, she would have died. Doctors aren't always right.
Masks are terrible because they don't work. Covid passes through. It's just a fact.
Even worse they give people a false sense of security and result in way more touching of the face.
There are only three ways out: being exposed/herd immunity; vaccine (unlikely); actual social distancing (the kind where you don't go to the store a few times a week [which is impossible]).
