With Self as KU coach, you had to believe KU would be in the running after the kid decided to leave WKU. I don't know why, but if a kid is thinking about transferring, Self wants to be in the conversation. I know it doesn't seem fair, but if the kid wants to go elsewhere, make him sit out a year. If it's in the rulebook, it needs to be followed. It is amazing a concept as simple as that can't always happen when talking about the NCAA.
Cant wait till Bilas starts complaining around about the NCAA not allowing a kid who didnt even finish one semester of school, to not transfer and be immediately eligible. I mean its the right thing to do, right?
