Regardless of which way this would go now, it's a long way to go to signing day.A lil stress on the RU boards. Everyone expected a commit by now. Who knows whats goin on. One of the anylist switched his prediction from RU to UK.
Most def, we RU fans are confident we get a commit, btw I don't see the UK coaching staff backing down till the last day.Regardless of which way this would go now, it's a long way to go to signing day.
When the top ten rated schools are recruiting the top ten QB every year and some of them are getting two highly rated QB every year, there will be QB that realize they need to transfer. What’s funny is when the schools have NFL QB, sometime they don’t even realize it. Joe Burrow transferred from Ohio State to LSU after sitting on the bench for 3 years and became the #1 pick of the NFL. Justin Fields transferred from Georgia to Ohio State after his freshman year and is in the top 3 QB in this year’s draft. In the past, the QB would sit for 2-3 years before they have a chance to play but in the past 3 years, they realized they can showcase their skills by transferring.
The issue of Gavin Wimsatt’s recruitment has been addressed at length on our State of 2022 Recruiting thread. Don’t need to repeat everything here but, short answer, I have believed all along and continue to believe now that UK is the school to beat, and that Gavin likes Liam Coen and Vince Marrow.Rembrandt Rock Cat...HELP!!!!!
Momma Wimsatt just posted 6 days seems like a hint for a commitment

Greetings, long time RU fan hereI tried in that era to like Rutgers.
I really did.
But during significant overseas action, when Navy came for a game to Jersey, the crowd chanted “F@&k Navy,” and the wife of the president of Navy sought personal protection from a surly crowd. Rutgers fans a dozen years, ago, defended the student body, saying “that’s our culture.”
UL jumped out and then Schiano started shifting the Dline and he completely confused UL’s OL and Brohm. Jeff was blistering Brian on the sideline. Chopping wood!
He’s more likely to transfer to UL IMO. He had a family member play there recently and most of his family are UL fans from what I remember reading a while back. UL loses Malik after this year so that would make sense as Wimsatt is a similar type QB.Wimsett is a portal QB to watch for coming home at the end of this season IMO. hope he gets some good experience in 2022.
UL is paying Clark good to be their next QBHe’s more likely to transfer to UL IMO. He had a family member play there recently and most of his family are UL fans from what I remember reading a while back. UL loses Malik after this year so that would make sense as Wimsatt is a similar type QB.
As well as his friends, and likely his parents. Sorry... UofL just isn't a destination school unless the vault door is left ajar.UL is paying Clark good to be their next QB
I read elsewhere that 44% of the quarterbacks starting in today’s games were transfers .We will be again looking for a refugee from a Top 10 caliber school's QB room. Hogan is close... Top 20, but we could use a stranded Top 100 HS prospects QB, unless Hogan really picks it up. Not sure where he is now, to be honest, but he appears to have packed Allen. We probably want someone for max two years if playing in the Boley sweepstakes.
I don’t think he will ever be a fit here though. He was a guy Eddie Gran loved , but Liam Coen ……not so much.Wimsett is a portal QB to watch for coming home at the end of this season IMO. hope he gets some good experience in 2022.
