Yep Totally Agree. Something about to go downThe FBI isn't taking over because they just learned of this case. Those remains must have pointed to something. Now they're coming in to glom on and be the ones who get the credit. Something about to get announced.

Any word on how the remains were discovered? Somebody call in a tip or hiker wander on them?
Did the Houck’s get arrested today?
But yeah agree, the Feds coming in heavy like that probably means they hold the cards.
Geez. That sounds like something from a book.A couple guys were camping on the Beech Fork river and fishing. He noticed on the river bank about 10 ft up the bank from the water level, one single bone sticking out.
Took bone to local funeral home, was told it was human, called police.
The body was buried 5 or 6ft deep, and away from the river. Apparently this bend in the river has eroded severely recently because of rain, two large trees came away from bank taking huge chunks of river bank with it. Exposing the side of the grave. Grave was lined in rocks.

Best hope may be the damn IRS of all things.
Look into potential financial discrepancies (dirty cop getting kickbacks) and/or apply some pressure if they can pin some tax criminality to him.How so?
Must not have been awful because Brooks was out mowing his yard last night.

When the body decays it collapses creating a void, the ground on the surface can sink and give a clue as a possible grave site for searchers. Big rocks wedged above a body is a indication that somebody was trying to hide the burial. Why would they have lined the grave with rocks?
Don’t forget the multiple forms of ID and set of complete dental records. What do they expect to find? It’s been what - 5 years? Not like they are gonna have their bloody clothes, murder weapon, or shovels/duct tape still lying around.
And I can’t imagine there will be any DNA evidence left after years of decay.

Whoever did it was not aware that land around rivers changes often due to current from floods and unstable ground. Maybe they thought the remains would be washed away over time, counting on the river to disperse the bones miles apart.
Any thoughts on why the Texas Game warden is involved?

Yeah that will work. "Hey man the GD IRS is checking into my financials, they about to give me 5 years in federal. I probably need to cut and deal and confess to the murder, I don't want them snooping around my dirty money."

IRS is in this for bigger reasons. The whole pot syndicate
Bigger than murder ? Dealing pot or murder, tough one.
Someone asked me how the IRS could be helpful or apply pressure.....and I’m simply giving an answer. It may not be what you’re looking for (a full confession and death penalty, but it’s better than nothing).Yeah that will work.
