UT at it again !

Is he now, he is the perfect example of how NIL was meant to operate. Reward kids on the team who have value. If he is getting that it's from a collective after he has been on campus 3+ years, led his team to a 13-1 record, not while he is still a high kid you are trying to get to attend school. If you are so blinded by jealously, and yes you are jealous, there is zero reason to see your post.
TN's about to lose 2 key assts, one to NFL and one to Michigan. Rats are leaving Chumlee's sinking ship, shows the hand writing is on the wall.

Can't happen fast enough to suit me. Those orange bastards need to take a fall. We still have to get to the point we can beat them on a regular basis. If Stoops could do that his legacy at UK would be complete in my book.

Coaches can only stand to be embarrasses by their employer so much and they leave.

So far since the McDonald's deal they have flown a top recruit cross country, paid said recruit 8m to come to UT, NCAA clearly stating NIL could not be used to sway a recruit where to attend college. NCAA starts investigation for misusing NIL, UT files suit, because it's leaders don't comprehend cannot be used to lure recruits. Accused all other teams of cheating, all the while wearing the ugliest colors in the NCAA. If they wanted to wear orange, at least pick a pretty shade, don't go cheap and wear Clempson's old ones.

The $8M thing gets the headlines but don't forget the original NCAA document said the charges were: "Multiple players on multiple teams." I think their baseball program is going to figure in this some way.

Agree re uniforms...have them designed by somebody who doesn't design jail uniforms.

BTW, there will never be another NCAA Death Penalty case...the SMU thing destroyed the old Southwest Conference and I don't think even the NCAA wants anything like that, but this TN thing where you follow up 200+ charges 2 years later with the most blatant, overt episode on record would come close.

The baseball coach is the poster child of everything wrong with college athletics, so yeah I can see him ignoring any rules or ethics.

that empty noggin has a bogeyman living in it….dressed in orange
If that is the best you can do in defending volunteer athletics it might be best to just read and not reply. Of course you don't care, that's why you are here reading it, everyone is doing it, no only 7-8 of the 130 programs are. NCAA singled out UT, of course they did, they are the ones cheating, why go after a school following the rules?

Yeah you went after the baseball coach cheating for no reason but insecurity and hate 😂…I know being a fan of a one sport school like uga may leave you perplexed but nothing was said about baseball

The baseball coach should have been suspended, he would have been at any of the other 13 SEC teams for tossing the bat at the opponents dugout. I bet it ferl much better than being a fan of a program where every team is mediocre, when was vols last championship in a sport anyone cares about, were you even born?

Ok, I’ll admit I haven’t read all the posts here, but the idea that UT is in Georgias head is maybe the fundumbiest things ever.

I’ll play along. Saban retired because he didn’t want to have to play UK again….

Opponent should've kept the bat and cut it open. No doubt tennis balls would've been found inside.

Not Georgia’s head….grumpy granny’s.

His insecurities from being battered for 50 years of fandom won’t allow him to bask in Georgia’s success.

Oh. Who is Grumpy Granny?

I’ve heard of Grumpydog, he’s a cool guy who posts things without having to resort to calling names.

If it’s him your referring to, seems he’s in your head…not vice versa, LOL.

Unless you are 3, then the name calling is age appropriate and I retract my comment…

Yeah It's me, he's comes around defending and explaining UTn's cheating ways. He is so easy I almost feel guilty, almost.

Like shooting fish in a barrel.
But he doesn't care. Congrats on the new hire. Young hungry guy, who I feel is an upgrade. Coen fell into a Goal mine with that 22 team I believe it was and got more credit than he deserved. It included a future starting NFL QB, arguably the conference's top back and a 1400+ yd receiver. How could he not look good?

Coen's gone so I won't comment on him other than I'm glad he went to the league and not another school.

As you know, it's always interesting when new coaches come in. I'm anxious to see what this guy can do. Young guy, really good background, worked for/with solid coaches, has chance to be top notch. Just hope UK can get 3 years out of him.

You thing being cordial is a bad thing? Of course you do, you are a trashy vol fan.
He may be a trashy Vol fan, who cares. We need to stop these damn UT threads. Let those axxholes go their way. It is sad that we keep a damn UT thread going 24/7/365. Get those idiots out of your mind. Let's try starting today, 2/16/24, to never have a puny orange thread. This is a BBN board.

At its core, the lawsuit is an antitrust case. Corker has already written in his temporary restraining order decision that “considering the evidence currently before the Court, Plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits of their claim under the Sherman Act.”

TN continues to be allowed to do whatever they want and the NCAA can't do anything about it. The NCAA has lost all power
I'm thrilled with the court decision. This is a win for every University that has sports teams. It was TN & VA. that brought the case but is is a win for BBN as much as it is for TN or VA. Unless you feel like KY does not use NIL, you should be happy the NCAA has had it's teeth pulled. Do you not realize that our NIL has helped with our portal success?
Go BBN!

Tennessee and Virginia did the athletes a solid .. what the NCAA was doing is a walking and talking Sherman Act Anti Trust Violation in which they done this for over 100 years and Judge Corker pretty much echoed what Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the NCAA vs Alston case

You can thank us whenever you're ready 😉
You have reason to be proud, you've now been given epic, unprecedented open license to cheat. But with that you lose all excuses for Rocky Top to be Rocky Flop. You're now favorites in multiple sports to win multiple NCs. The annual Barnes March Fold is gone, the baseball flop is gone, Chumlee's choking away games to the likes of UF/MO are gone. No longer will Chumlee's losses to GA/Bama because they have more talent, not now that you can buy whomever you want. Name your price recruits, we got it on the hip.

Yeah…it’s not cheating sport.

The ncaa passed rules after the fact then tried to enforce them.

your hate has blinded you that nil could be the thing that evens Kentucky with the top teams in football. It could even the playing field on recruiting in a state without a huge hs base of athletes
