Iowa’s punting game has been damn good. We lose so much by deprioritizing special teams. It’s a weird shortcoming in Stoops’s team management.

It's patently unfair to expect a true freshman QB who has never played in a college game to be at the top of his game. However, it's fair to ask why does UK look so piss poor in these types of games? I don't see other SEC teams look so ill prepared.

Wade has good qualities but needs a ton of work. My hope is he can take this and build.

There are zero excuses for stoops to put this type of a team on the field. And even if the team isn't good, there's zero excuse to not have the players motivated to make their blocks, etc. The WR are whiffing on half of their blocks on the edge.

If The coach has no expectations of a win today, Why should the players? Why should they give the extra effort?

I think they are fair questions and i hope stoops does not squash momentum w this garbage.

Reading your post makes me think that Wade is very similar to Morgan Newton. Can he improve? Of course he can but I agree with you.

That is who I compared him to in the thread about Wade. I think he should try his hand at TE if he wants to stick around here other than holding a clipboard. Can he improve? Sure, but his throwing motion is so jacked up I don't know if they can fix it enough. Even if they fix his motion it's always going to be in the back of his head, and you don't want QB thinking about throwing motion during the course of a game. Honestly, this is all placating him to keep him happy and Keaton on the team.
