Thanks CRod and Will, don’t care what you do in the NFL, there’s no loyalty anymore.
People often forget to mention the wr in blocking but ours are awful. Brown is too weak and Key too disinterested.I don't know if Wade will be swapped out in the second half but he is doing fairly well for a freshman QB in his first start with starting field position inside the five most of the time with no OL blocking, no WR blocking, and no RB running.
GBB!
That’s exactly why I didn’t like the move. I understand wanting to see a young kid play, but today was a tall task for his first ever snapsYou realize this is his first start against one of best defenses lol.
LMAO what a joke.
We don’t want to be here. Garbage.
I think he has potential but now that we are down 21… we need to give the second half to Hogan or Sheron and let them have their chance to make their case moving forwardWe need to pull wade for the second half... Game is OVER
Then you have the UK/Louisville game going on as well. That shot of the crowd said it all. No one wanted to come to this game especially with the opt outs. Probably worst attended game at a bowl for us in years.
I retract my statement
I said it earlier but it could be a silver lining. It could work as somewhat of a reality check that he isn’t ready to transfer after next season and be a starter…it may make him more patient to use his redshirt that he earned this year and stick around through his RS Fr and Soph year and potentially be the guy his JR yearThat’s exactly why I didn’t like the move. Definitely not confusing you for a rocket scientist, but Coen recruited him. The kid is a true freshman. Stop being a moronHe’s not a QB, period. Especially for the kind of offense we want to run. This isn’t rocket science.
Should have just told the fans to stay home because we aren't worried about winning. If stoops sends him back out, then the options really suck or he has no desire or expectation of winning today.
Based off today, I don’t see him being a concern if he leftI said it earlier but it could be a silver lining. We actually recruited his brother.Definitely not confusing you for a rocket scientist, but Coen recruited him. The kid is a true freshman. Stop being a moron
The other options aren’t great eitherWhy is this goober playing QB again?
No one was gonna do well, but these games can kill confidence as you move into the off season. It is what it is I guess, none of our bench at that position matters it seemsWell Levis sure to hell wasn’t going to risk having a bad game against them. Not sure Sheron would be any diff. Who else is there?
he sucks too but at some point you have to give him a series or twoWhat’s up with Sheron?
Most blasted Sheron, but I think he looks more like a quarterback than Wade. I'm not convinced he can't scramble better than Wade. Wade just lumbers.he sucks too but at some point you have to give him a series or two
Why can't Stoops ever have a decent 2nd and 3rd string QB? Other teams put their backup qb's in and kill us.The other options aren’t great either
That is usually because Kentucky plays off coverage and is giving the QB 8 yard cushions for his receiversWhy can't Stoops ever have a decent 2nd and 3rd string QB? Other teams put their backup qb's in and kill us.
Short sighted. He’s a dual threat QB with NFL size and a decent arm. He was a 4star out of HS and his 1 year of reps was limited running a pure pocket passing system under an OC that boxed in Levis’ athleticism and limited his running (designed and scrambling) even before the injury.Based off today, I don’t see him being a concern if he left
Sheron is not a sec qb. I’m not saying that to take up for wade and not arguing Wade is, but Sheron isn’t a long term answer. We only have him because he came when we absolutely couldn’t get skill players at that time and no other decent school was on him. But they should go ahead and play him at some point. As far as how he looked, he had Rodriguez to stabilize some things and defensively SC isn’t near Iowa. That being said, Sheron is two years in the program, so maybe he can manage us being atrocious offensively better than an inexperienced true freshman hasMost blasted Sheron, but I think he looks more like a quarterback than Wade. The wr not blocking has been an issue all year. There are zero excuses for stoops to put this type of a team on the field. And even if the team isn't good, there's zero excuse to not have the players motivated to make their blocks, etc. The WR are whiffing on half of their blocks on the edge.
