Yes and yes! Tennessee is back on top. South Carolina and Ole Miss are both coming on strong, who we should at least be on the same level as. All three schools with relatively new coaches. And here we are still cheering over 7 wins with none of them being anybody relevant. Now getting embarrassed by Iowa who has the worst offense in division 1 football.

Reading your post makes me think that Wade is very similar to Morgan Newton. Can he improve? Of course he can but I agree with you.
I’m not being short sighted, I’m being realistic in todays college football. I agree you need developmental kids for depth but kids that can play QB or think they can will not wait around 3 years to play in todays college football world.

You’re right they did. South Carolina competed against Clemson. We would’ve gotten beat by 40 if we played Clemson. I was shocked by Ole Miss getting beat by Texas Tech. But you can’t compare playing Clemson and Texas Tech to this Iowa team.

Didn’t say it was their offense. Just stated the fact that they have the worst offense in the country. But does it really matter? Even worse their defense has kept us scoreless plus put their points on the board too.

Seems like everyone we play has one. I think that might be more to do with Stoops being terrible at adjusting to backups.
Iowa is not good enough to run up the score. They are 7-5, with the best defense they've had since 1929.
