Travis Perry vs Pope fallout?

I find it very unusual that Travis Perry did not post an open letter to BBN regarding his time here at UK.
No message of gratitude or good thoughts and memories.

I also haven’t seen Mark Pope issue a statement regarding Perry leaving? Have I missed something here?

My first thought is that Pope can’t be happy about the timing of this, two hours before the closing of the portal

Anyone else have thoughts or insights here?
