Travis Graf

Reeves and jones aren’t trash. Burks has potential. Hurt is a reach for sure.
Doubt Jones comes,he could surprise us but I doubt it.
I'd just rather Reeves pack his drama and demands up and hit the damn road.Burks could be a decent addition at least able to give us some minutes

It’s to late to wish reeves gone, they have to get him. With jones appearently it’s between Memphis Kentucky and Xavier. Burks is intriguing and looks promising

He's not. Travis Graf works his ass off and really commend him for how hard he's worked to get where he is. Great person too.

Let's just say this--Burks as the "non needle" mover for what Kentucky fans expect. I love the guy the more I've heard about him. Again I was guessing it was him but going from 6'6 wing to 6'10 wing....leading OTE in scoring and he dropped 42 pts in his first game in the OTE league so he had a debut similar to that display that Rob Dillingham had that blew those announcers away.....and he's the type of guy that John Welch will make a terror.

Cal's best addition to this point is Welch. He's worked out guys like this in prepping for NBA and as an NBA Coach. If you are willing to work in the gym--he'll get a guy like this taken in the NBA Draft. G-League Ignite was interested too and they took Dink Pate, Tyler Smith, and Ron Holland-but Burks was on their radar and said he wanted to be in CBB and even said for at least 2 yrs or something along that line.

This guy has a chance to be really good. Again--he won't be the headliner for many UK fans either. So that may make them like the idea of adding him more. lol
So is this kid legit 6’10” now? I know nothing of him. I just know he looked nowhere near 6’10” in the video posted early in this thread. If he is 6’10” now, then I’m certainly intrigued.

Right. 6'9/6'10 is what he's apparently grown to. I'm not saying he's going to be AD or anything insane--but he's worth looking at in this time of year and certainly in addition to veterans you need to bring in. Great upside.

We need 10 to practice so any of these guys will help. The Fr will get a majority of the mins and any of them can get better through the year.

My outlook right now. Reeves & jones good adds and will help if they can get them. Burks talented but maybe not rounded out yet, but can get spot mins maybe surprise somebody and be a SGA diamond in the rough if it works out. Hurt depth piece and practice player nothing more. Kaluma contributor and probable starter who can help a lot. Now what Kentucky does is anybodies guess really

Seems like Graf just put out a lot of hype that adds up to nothing.I thought he was better than that.

I’m gonna give graf the benefit of the doubt he is too good and is consistent in his info being correct. He said two contributors so I’m gonna hold out that they get two contributors on top of reeves coming back

He said some would move the needle and some won’t. This is one that doesn’t move the needle. Where was he wrong?

I’m good with adding a guy with his size and apparent skill set. Lots of tools to work with. Develop his game, get him in the weight room for a year… like you said, lots of upside, if he’s on board with working to develop his game and not pull the rip cord after one year.

I’m excited about possibly adding Joey Hart. Last thing anyone wants is some boring minutes to end those November games against popcorn state with terrible athletes, turnovers, and missed shots. Give me this semi local guy who can stroke it and yams for a white kid to end those nights. We need bodies and at any level it can be hard to get players that know they won’t really play. Happy for the kid to get the opportunity to play at UK. I’m sure him and his family are ecstatic.
