** Was mentioned in another thread that Dave Lackford put in a Louisville futurecast for Woo Spencer. Did a little digging and I believe he is right about that. I am not flipping my pick yet because I'm not sure it's settled for good but does seem trending that way. As I said elsewhere, when one school has kind of been lurking around and okay with you waiting until December and another school comes along and makes you a pretty big priority then that could have an impact on you. I think it's fine if UK takes him or if he goes somewhere else. It's not something that would change how I feel about the class in a significant way either direction. I know that's not the hot take. I see him as somebody you could probably work with but I think the No. 1 OL recruiting priority now is keeping Keenum and working the portal.
** Think UK is working on setting up a visit for Tanner Bowles. Feel good about their chances with him. Not saying it's over and done with but it seems like a great fit for him and he's somebody you could probably slide right in and probably as a starter. Think he was pretty well regarded at Alabama, the bar for playing there is just extremely high.
** Marques Cox from NIU is someone I mentioned yesterday but don't want to give you the impression he's locked up or anything like that. There are a lot of schools that are looking at him closely from the Power Five level because of how he graded out especially in pass sets last year I think. Someone told me recently that Notre Dame might be something of a dream for him but haven't heard a whole lot linking him to the Irish.
** Kavosiey Smoke going into the portal does not come as a surprise. When we've talked about the RB situation for next year the focus has always been on other guys. Had a good career at Kentucky and will probably have some nice options.
** It's a big offseason for Kiyaunta Goodwin. Originally, the plan was for him to be worked into the lineup over the course of the season as he became more comfortable and worked on his body. That obviously did not happen. He's got to make some strides in terms of his body this offseason.
