I liked that lineup towards the end with Ugo in there.. who is clearly better for us than Bradshaw at the moment.

One of the ways you prepare is by having a full bench of 13-15 players and we never do that…much less have 13+ healthy at once. Thats directly on Cal. No excuse to not minimally have some practice players that are 6’3 or taller. You can literally go over to the Johnson Center and find really competitive guys over there playing pickup that would love the opportunity to be on the team with zero expectation of ever playing. Instead we use our walking spots to get Cals buddies kids a spot for 5’8 jersey kids that averaged 4 in HS

You simulate chaos to prepare for good defensive teams by playing 5 on 6/7 so the defense can constantly scramble to apply pressure while simultaneously playing straight up. Forces the offense to execute cleanly and get comfortable in chaos so they don’t panic and get sped up in real games.

Playing like pure crap. Only 1-10 on the three. Dillingham costing us big time. Cal taking Shep out did not help on one of their runs. On top of all that blessed Poole and the Russian Vladimire let two late fouls on them go late. Obvious fouls.

If Florida comes back down to earth a bit and we manage to hit a few shots, still may manage to bring home a W.

Most concerning thing to me is the thing I was worried about happening seems to be coming to fruition. Bradshaw seems to be fading in to the background, and not really doing much of anything to impact the game on either end. Doesn’t score, doesn’t rebound particularly well, and doesn’t necessarily wreak much havoc on defense. Just feels like he is another body on the court right now.
