Kentucky is the greatest basketball program of all time.
unc cheat has been in the title game in 7 different decades . Kentucky has 6. Should be # 1 as soon as the ncaa vacates 23 years of cheating. Next year, UK can make a big move up in a lot of categories. GBBOriginally posted by the nail at the foul line:
Why is KY number 2 in decades with a title game appearance? Should be tied at 1 with three other schools.
Who took the attendance title this year? Kentucky or Syracuse?

NCAA Final Four Appearances: 17 (NCAA rank #2)
NCAA Final Four Games Played: 28 (NCAA rank #3)
It is impossible that these are all true.
I'm too lazy to wiki, but not too lazy to math.
If you have 17 appearances in the F4 and 12 in the champ game, then you have 29 total F4 games played.
Furthermore, if you're #1 in championship games and #2 in F4 appearances, then logically, you must be at least #2 in F4 games played.
There's only one team who can possibly lead us in F4 games played, and that is the team that is #1 in F4 appearances, and only if their lead in F4s is greater than our lead in championship appearances.
I suspect that we've played in 29 F4 games. It would make all the other numbers work.
Champ games + F4 appearances = F4 games played
12 + 17 = 29.
Also,
Titles + Champ game appearances = F4 wins
8 + 12 = 20.

Yes, alright, but then it's logically impossible that we're third if our rankings for champ game appearances and F4 appearances is true. We're second at worst.NCAA Final Four Games Played: 29 (NCAA rank #3)
I think it is 29.
12 championship game appearances and 17 final four appearances is right.
