OP,

First Team Consensus All-American Total Selections: 25 (NCAA rank #4) The rank should be 2. needs to be changed at the bottom too where the total ranks are. GBB

As the Final Four last night ended with dUKe winning and getting past half-way to UK's NCAA title number...just a reminder...

Don't let a few dozen whimpering gloom-purveyors and trolls who have taken up residence on this board -- after being no where to be seen during the 38-0 part of the season -- obscure an essential, undeniable fact:

Kentucky is the greatest basketball program of all time.

I believe Wisconsin was in shock and awe on playing and beating Kentucky the greatest basketball program of all-time
and they let their guard down and didn't play well against Duke.

They got their superbowl win,but no National title.

unc cheat has been in the title game in 7 different decades . Kentucky has 6. Should be # 1 as soon as the ncaa vacates 23 years of cheating. Next year, UK can make a big move up in a lot of categories. GBB

Kentucky: 1940's, 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1990's, 2010's.

UNCheat: 1940's, 1950's (when they started cheating), 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, 2000's.

By the way, OP, "The List" is not anywhere close to being accurate right now, as I haven't had time to update it in weeks. I will try to do it this weekend. I'll let you know when I do. Thanks for your help.

UNC was in title game in fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties and the hundreds. What other decade? That is 6. I left out 1946. That is 7.

Name 3 reasons this shouldn't be organized by Jon Scott and pinned permanently? Okay now that you can't, pin it mods.....

Who took the attendance title this year? Kentucky or Syracuse?

I need to update that part of the list if Kentucky got it this year.

How about this reason why UK is the finest college b-ball team in the land:

It just is. :D

Kentucky. "The University of Kentucky dethroned Syracuse University for the home attendance title after the Orange had won in back-to-back years in 2014 and 2015. The Wildcats averaged 23,361 while the Orange brought in 21,592 a game. Kentucky led the nation the previous eight seasons. The University of Louisville was third with 20,859 per game and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, was fourth with 18,326. The University of Maryland, College Park, topped the nation with an increase of 5,169 more fans per game in 2015-16 to finish in the top five with an average of 17,863.

I don't know if I saw this listed or not. But I'm pretty sure UK is the only school with 6 different coaches to win 30 or more games in a season.

NCAA Championship Game Appearances: 12 (NCAA rank #1)
NCAA Final Four Appearances: 17 (NCAA rank #2)
NCAA Final Four Games Played: 28 (NCAA rank #3)

It is impossible that these are all true.

I'm too lazy to wiki, but not too lazy to math.

If you have 17 appearances in the F4 and 12 in the champ game, then you have 29 total F4 games played.

Furthermore, if you're #1 in championship games and #2 in F4 appearances, then logically, you must be at least #2 in F4 games played.

There's only one team who can possibly lead us in F4 games played, and that is the team that is #1 in F4 appearances, and only if their lead in F4s is greater than our lead in championship appearances.

I suspect that we've played in 29 F4 games. It would make all the other numbers work.
Champ games + F4 appearances = F4 games played
12 + 17 = 29.

Also,
Titles + Champ game appearances = F4 wins
8 + 12 = 20.

This still hasn't been addressed.
