I just did some quick math, at 17 miles we should lose 192 feet on the horizon, but the Superdome is 270 feet tall so it would be easily seen across Lake Pontchertrain.
Should have said 27 miles not 17.

If you haven't spent any time looking into these claims and are taking the word of other people then who's the dumb one?
1. How deep is the Earth?
2. Since technology is advancing so much to make it obvious the world is flat, what happens when we're able to drill all the way through the Earth?
3. What's on the other side of the Earth?
4. Why has no one flew over the Antarctic wall?
5. Is gravity real or would you just fall off on the other side because you're upside down?
Prove to me the moon isn't made of cheese...then we'll talk
Nope. Pythagoras proved it by simply studying the sun shadow patterns of poles driven into the ground...GREEKS DIDNT EVEN HAVE NO LASARS

I like this path of logic.5. Is gravity real or would you just fall off on the other side because you're upside down?
I'm not nearly as full of shit as these guys but let me give it a try...I like this path of logic.
Explain the existence of gravity on a flat plane...

So, Earth moves, then?Earth's gravity is an illusion, they say. Objects do not accelerate downward; instead, the disc of Earth accelerates upward at 32 feet per second squared (9.8 meters per second squared), driven up by a mysterious force called dark energy.

Then what keeps planes from being knocked out of the sky from the constantly upwards moving Earth?Earth's gravity is an illusion, they say. Prolly the sins of the non-believers.Duh! Dark energy.
Darker energy...Then what keeps planes from being knocked out of the sky from the constantly upwards moving Earth?
I believe they call this Black Magick.Darker energy...
It's turtles...all the way down man.
There are no planets, they don't exist.
All that you touchJust the Dark side.
The Russians spent over a decade trying to see how far you can dig, they got stuck at 12 km. No matter how long or how hard they tried they could go no further so the finally gave up.1. How deep is the Earth?

This doesn't bode well for Bushy Bill's logic skills. Pythagoras had no YouTubes, either.

You had me going there for a while. I was thinking you were serious. Thanks for confirming the troll.
OP, thoughts on garlic bread?
You only answered one of my questions.
20 something feet of elevation change does not negate my premise.
