Idk why anyone would bet on these cupcake games, especially a line that high.
UK will average 82 points per game and then Cal will go into the tournament and lose in a game by a score of something like 57-60.
Sometimes something like that is all you need. It doesn't have to be a dagger 3 to win the game. It could be so much as a shot with you struggling that should have fallen off to the side going in. You never know. That's all Im saying.
Man has he had it tough thus far! Seems to me he is "reading the press clippings". He looks tight and not loose. We're gonna need him to break out of that.

Kenpom had us winning by 31 lol. Seems a bit more reasonable.
They really both have under performed. DJ at least hit a few trey's tonight. Still, they both look tight to me. They have a lot to live up to. Hard to guage the mind of 18 year olds. They still seem like great guys and at least we have other pieces to pick it up for them.
When's the last time we expected that? Riley has been a godsend for Cal. Which really kinda hammers home the point but you know where I'm driving at. Go Big Blue!
Ton of pressure on them, which is tough when they guys behind you are playing so well. But that’s the highest level of college basketball.

Some guys just have "IT", player rankings be damned. Brother, Reed has "IT" in spades. No way I thought he would be this good right now. If any of our injured 5's can give us anything then we are looking at a great season. As long as it doesn't mess up what we have going as far as flow. But we are the "Benny's" so what do we know?
Him and Dillingham both do! They play two totally different styles but they compliment each other so well.
The team Kentucky plays Monday lost to Texas A&M commerce tonight so that game might be a bit easier than I thought
For sure. Rob is better than Wagner ATM.
Saw an interview with AI back in the summer. He said Rob is more like him than any player since. His D needs to get a better but he seemed to take that step this game. It's gonna take a bit. Cal's teams have always blossomed late season. My goodness, we have less growth now than we've had in years. Gosh damn I love this team.
