Stock Advice Thread

You know this from personal experience?

Yes, I do. Have had several gummies. The rest are less potent and make you tired. Their's are really good. I have never used the vape, but online reviews are excellent. I have also bought the gummies in 2 states from 4 different establishments and they are always the same.

Bought some of the stock you mentioned, don’t use the product, vaping and edibles very popular per my relatives! BTW, you need to come to the board more, remember you from when I first came to this fine thread!
I started this thread!! LOL! Been struggling with finding anything I am diehard about lately. It's an overpriced underexciting market out there. I feel like I'm looking at a bunch of 3 bed 2 bath ranches that cost $1 million bucks when I do research these days.

I should have brought my wife's Teledoc pick here. I didn't like it, but she bought it anyway and it was a 4 or 5 bagger LOL!

Indeed, and she will remind you!

Cramer seems to have been right a couple of weeks ago when he said cloud stocks seemingly were being sold to raise Cash for buying some hot IPOs, give him an amen, pruned a little but hard to let go of my CYBR, PYPL, NSP, etc. Medical stocks are getting hit some more with Sanders pushing his popular, but unlikely plan, we might get some good buys eventually, methinks.

Exactly! Always keeping one eye on secular growers in that space. DXCM for example which is now flat on the year.

One word of advise on your financial portfolio, diversity. Don't put all your eggs into the same basket.

Oh yeah. I knew a couple in their late 50’s who were drooling at retirement being just a few yrs away. Unfortunately their retirement plan was placed all in just 2-3 stocks. They weren’t diverse.....they didn’t go conservative at their age.....etc. The economy crashed in ‘09 and they lost ~70%.....ouch.

Have been watching UNH wanting to increase my position and did so today. . A little pull back in the past two weeks. Conservative play but up 40% in 2 yrs for me. I'll take it every day.

I think it’ll continue to climb long term, but it might fall short term. It’s probably a good time to buy. Good job. I don’t own UNH as a lone investment but do have some as part of some funds.

Some guy went from 250$ to 165k on disney stock options. These are the things I dream of.

CGC just bought a leading medical producer in Germany.

Also, Organigram just announced their Q1 sales.....and they did very well. Could mean that CGC and Aurora might do about the same.

I own some CGC, IIPR, OGRMF, CWBHF, and SLGWF. They are all so volatile I hate to take large positions in any of them, IIPR has by far the best past track record, CGC seemingly has the best future with its name and STZ’s financial backing.

Ahh, come on. Where's the fun? Go all in.

By the way, I'm throwing $10 large on Gray Magician to win the Derby........right now at 50-1

:grimace::flushed: Are you “all in” on any cannabis stocks currently? Lots of volatility and perhaps a long wait for US legalization. I’m more heavily into a few tech and 5G related plays. As to horses, I have no knowledge other than knowing some horses’ asses, do love to watch the big 3 races, though!

Of course not..... This thread is 42 pgs in and we get posts like yours every couple of pages.

My investment positions are like most on here. >90% of my portfolio is mut funds, steady dividend yielding stocks, etc, etc. I'm actually more into funds than individual stocks, but I do have them. The issue is that they aren't super fun to talk about.

"Hey, just bought more of FSCSX. It's doing well. Yeah for me."

The fun is talking about the <5-10% of your portfolio that is volatile and has the "what if" factor. Hence the pot stocks.......or hot technology stocks.......or the hot buys that flash every now and again.

I bought a CGC, Aurora, Hexo, SRUTF, NBEV when each first entered. And I bought and sold CGC about 5x when it yo-yo'd a few times. So, right now I'm up by a good amount (as far as my pot positions are concerned). I'm still going to very slowly strengthen all positions......shift some things around as able......watch the market.

The real payoff will come in time. Only 2 major countries in the world are legal......Canada being one of them. Eventually, more and more will join in. CGC expects the US to legalize in 7-10 yrs (but, of course, they would)

Is that the new Burger King thing? I heard they have a meatless burger that's so good.....and was really well received......that they are going national with it.
Yes. Meat substitute. Much better than Tofurkey. Vegan world jumped all over it. I sampled the product in Vegas this past Monday as soft taco filling at Del Taco and must say this stuff is great. Beyond Meat sausage is supposedly good as well. Looking at hitting up Whole Foods tomorrow for some.

Have been eating Beyond Meat for almost 2 years. I knew last year they were going public. I had $10k set aside just for this stock.
Oh well, apparently the cat has been let out of the bag. Damn. Last year I was hoping this thing was going to open around $4-$10 a share. LOL

Beyond Meat may not be any healthier for you than real meat. Beyond meat is loaded with salt (bad if you have high blood pressure) and contains the same amount of saturated fat as a real burger (thanks to coconut oil). Also it uses a form of soy that is not good for your body and can have side effects like raising estrogen levels and lowering sperm count (might even make you bitchy). However, I am sure vegetarians will love this because most of their protein substitute foods taste pretty bad.

Compared to the health problems of meat I'll stick with Beyond Meats. All day, everyday

Recently an analyst stated that the IS market is going to decline....meaning not as much of the double digit returns. Still money to be made but that it might be better to focus attention to other economies if you’re looking big. China for example.

So, if this is true what are some stocks or funds that you really like?
