True , but THIS year I would trade cornerbacks with any of these teams . So at least he’s probably better than what we have .

Scuttlebutt is Jimbo Fisher as the next coach has been in the works since before they fired coach O. If that falls through they’re moving on to Kiffin .
One of those is Bryson Hurst 4* OL, we were on him early if I recall

Imo marrow was more likely to go to MSU than LSU. Marrow is a big ten guy at heart. More than once he's referenced having to be careful/selective recruiting kids from the deep south. Sounds like Midwest is his jam.

Tucker was high on the want list of both LSU and UF,at least according to their fans. But apparently the Spartans want to keep him and have given him an extension. According to the UF site their top 3, if Mullen is canned are Tucker, Freeze and Kiffin. If they retain him they want to hit UGA's defensive staff for a DC. Would like Muschamp or Lanning, UGA DC and hope to bring this ILB coach with him. Lanning turned down Texas and 2 mil last year, think he is waiting for the right HC job.
LSU keeps putting it out there they are going for Jimbo. Jumbo has said multiple times he isn't interested, if he goes it won't be for more money. With Texas a mess and him getting just about who he wants instate not much reason for him to leave unless he just likes it better in LA. After Jimbo LSU has the same top 3, no idea how those 3 sees those jobs. Billy Napier seems to be each school's number 4 guy on their list.

They feel they had him last time until Mack Brown didn't retire and forced them to fire him. Saban and Brown were/are friends and Saban backed out.
No mention of Dabo, I am sure Bama feels like he would come running to replace Saban when that time comes.
Yeah , I guess I didn’t word that very well . He was saying the list of other teams offering wasnt that impressive. I suspect about all of those teams have better corners we currently do . So he could still be an upgrade over what we have even though we aren’t beating top teams for him . Does that make any sense, lol.
Hurst would be an amazing get. Doubt we get him but he could be an All American.

Would that surprise anyone? I think Lane wants to get another shot at being a Saban to a big time program. I think he probably thinks he can build that at Old Swiss (so many dumb punny variations), but I think being given the keys to LSU would be tempting for him. The Rebels only have 13 commits, but I do not know who they are pursuing. Seems Kiffin could improve his class just by taking LSU, if those players fit what he wants to do.
If I was a Rivals analyst, I would bump Reed to a 3-star, just because of his commitment to UK. If Stoops wants him, it is unlikely he is a 2 star CB and Rivals is just giving Stoops a future star who everyone says was a 2-star before being developed.

MB interviewed a few coaches and felt Stoops was what he was looking for and hired him
now if you want to say it is mind boggling why schools with head coach openings before we hired him never gave him a chance.........then maybe he did fall into our lap
