State of 2022 Recruiting

Brown announcing Wednesday. LSU CB entering portal and KSR said this morning his people reached out to KY forgot the kids name.

any one seen Cole Lanter from boyle county play this year we offered this weekend

Rivals is irrelevant.

the staff has shown that they know real talent and how to get guys into the league

UK waited for 50 yrs w horrible coaching hires.

be thankful Stoops literally fell into our lap

Why is our secondary so bad this year? The DB coach?

WELL WE LOST JOSEPH'S TO TENNESSEE. I was thinking Michigan, but he really never had any high marks to attend UK. Teammate of Andre Stewart, current commit. Alex was recruiting him here; hopefully, Joseph's decision doesn't affect Stewart's commitment.

Barion Brown announces today. All signs point to UK, but I will wait until his announcement due to the recent struggles in closing some prospects.

UK STAFF WILL BE HITTING THE PORTAL VERY HARD THIS YEAR AGAIN, WE MAY SEE SOME NEW HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECT NAMES POP UP, ESPECIALLY WITH ALL THE COACHING CHANGES. HOPEFULLY UK IS NOT AFFECTED WITH COACHING CHANGES, BUT WHO KNOWS.

Barion Brown, WR, Nashville, (3 CB PICKS FOR UK. CONFIDENCES OF 8,7, AND 7, COMMITTING TODAY HOPEFULLY UK)

Deone Walker, DL, Detroit, MI (JOSH EDWARDS CB, WITH ONLY A 6 MEDIUM CONFIDENCE)
Elijah Reed DB, Louisville, KY (COMMITTED TO KENTUCKY)
Joshua Joseph, LB, Kennesaw, GA - COMMITTED TO TENNESSEE
Quinton Conley, WR, Kansas City, MO
Laquan Robinson, S, Greenville, AL
Kaleb Webb, WR, Powder Springs, GA
Jawaun Northington ATH/RB, Louisville, KY (CB-7 High by Edwards)
Dijons Jennings, QB, Reynoldsburg, OH
Tyree Rainey, S, Donalsonville, GA
Andrew Savaiinaea, DL, Graham, WA
Osiris Ross, ATH, Ramseur, NC
Justin Jenkins, DT, irvington, NJ
Mikeece Jones, CB, Nashville, TN

I think you can increase the CB confidence level for Elijah Reed ;-)

Thanks for the big picture update! Always make it easier for me to see the "big board" instead of having to scan separate post. Good work!

Van hiles says it isn't coaching?
Yes . I asked him directly. He says the mistakes our guys are making are fundamental things that every single defensive backfield coach even in high school teach . I said “ isn’t getting players to do what they’re supposed do coaching?” He said “ even if Collins was terrible, they would have retained what Clinksdale had taught them “ . He also said when UK hired Collins he looked at tape of Ga.State and their defensive backs were fundamentally sound. He thinks Collins is a solid coach and if coaching were the problem,Stoops would have stepped in because defensive backs is CMS expertise. TIFWIW.

Taj Harris is considered a 4 star transfer per 247 as well... This class is amazing.
