State of 2022 Recruiting

O$U is trying to sway Goodwin into visiting them while they stopped Tshabola from visiting us and threatened to take his scholarship if he visited.

Yeah, it is. Unfortunately, I think he ends up at Clemson if they offer.

Clemson may be the n for a little dropoff now that its known Venerables was stealing signs. Now if they could be forced off the PEDs, their players have all the symptoms land side effects for abusing.

They are trying to swing their bucknutts around before the temperature gets too cold outside and they retract into their usual form.

Care to elaborate Grumpy? Quite interesting.

How is there anything wrong with that? Change them or don't use them if you have a problem.

I don't have a problem with it as long as Clemson isn't video recording the other team so they can't study them later and piece it together with plays. IMO, that would be totally against the spirit of the game. If they figure something out during the game, good on them, and bad on the other team for as you say, not changing it up.

And he camps at OSU in the next week or two. That's the one to watch as far as Kentucky is concerned. It's kind of crazy that UK, ND and OSU are all battling over a number of OL in this class.
Our recruiting has been like this for the majority of the time under Stoops. I just wish it resulted in more than one 10 win season.

Not this many direct head to head battles in one class at one position group.
OL is by far the most successful unit we've had. Thanks to Schlarman. It was a matter of time top prospects were going to want to play for the Big Blue Wall and I think Worford is another tribute as well since he's a great recruiter.

About which, been rumored for year Venerables strength was figuring out signals, OSU made that more difficult and you saw the results, OSU moved the ball at will.

The 2nd, couple years back CU had 3 declared ineligible because of PEDs in their system. Dabo blamed it on hand lotion. The kid ejected for targeting on Fields had numerous symptoms of an abuser, thinning hair bad complexion.

If anything is against the spirit of the game imo, it's coaches calling plays vs. the players playing the game themselves. Let C tape signals all they want. If opponents can't figure out how to counteract that it's their problem.

Sorry, I thought we were talking about college football. Don't reckon I've ever watched the league you are referring to. All is fair in love and war! Might as well put cameras and mics in the visitor locker room, if they can't figure it out, that's on them..... I like it! Should be more upsets that way.

This thread has went into the toilet the last page or so. Not that there isn't some good posts, but a lot of this discussion is for another thread and has nothing to do with UK recruiting.
My apologies... I tend to get off topic a lot.

Dane Key got offered by Michigan. I would presume Clinkscale offered him.

I'm not worried about it. Harbaugh will be fired by this time next year.

This isn't the old UK Football days.. We have very very good shot with players like this now. I wouldn't automatically think "surprise" if we got him.
He is kind of like the OT recruit committed to OH ST that we are recruiting. Looks ready to play now. Yeah, we are getting a lot of four stars on the lines that still need a year or two to strengthen up but this guy looks ready to be a top backup right now. But with Marrow anybody is possible.

Never said it was a problem, if you think someone is stealing them and you dont change them it's on you. OSU thought he was stealing them and made some changes and the CU defense looked fairly average. But the PEDs that Dabo defended are an issue.

Guys on every team, especially in the SEC and on top teams like UGA are on PEDs.

That may be true, but no one looks like a billboard for the side effects of PEDs than CUs players, they recently had multiple players fail the test for PEDs. Of course Dabo blamed it on their hair conditioner or some such silly BS.

Grumpy, Where do the Dawgs stand with Stantavious Smith? Looks like a pretty good prospect; camped at UK last weekend, and was impressed!
Thanks

Dane Key will be on his OV this weekend to Kentucky

Fingers crossed for a commitment.
Id be stunned if he committed. Both he and his dad were on the radio last week and basically started they are just getting started in the recruiting process with visits starting back. Sounds like it will be sometime during his high school season at the earliest. Unless, things change of course, and in recruiting, that is always a possibility.
