Three dook losses in a row is too much to pass up. Only problem...hope a UL win doesn't keep them out our region in March. I'm looking forward to sending them home again and if we don't get them before the Sweet 16 then they will never make it to us (IMO).

I want Coach K to show that he can't coach freshmen.
I want that "legendary" coach to lose 3 in a row.
I want more love for our freshmen and less for their freshmen. Albeit, Jahlil looks great but Tyus and Winslow can drop in Draft.

Rooting against Duke, not FOR anyone. You guys are so unfair. Duke is such a young team; it takes awhile to learn to flop properly.
Duke--easily. UL could lose every game ever, and it still wouldn't bring me enough satisfaction.
UL won a National Championship 2 years ago and made a Final Four the year before that. Duke made an elite 8 and has been bounced out by 15 seeds twice in the same time period. UL is our main rival in basketball, football, womens basketball, and damn near every sport we compete in. We don't have a regular series with Duke in any sport. It takes a special kind of arrogance to say they're not our competition in anything.
No, they're not. They may be to some that live in Louisville, but they aren't much of a rival to everyone else.

The fun part is going to be watching someone's head explode. If they call all of the hacking Pitino will lose it, it they let all of the hacking go on as usual at the Chum Bucket, Rat Face will explode. Either way, it's going to be a short game for one of them and delicious for me to watch.

What's the dividing line here? How on God's green earth ANYONE can pull for UL puzzles me. I guess the 30 and under crowd is still reliving 1992 Duke games. Get your head out of your arses people, get off the fence, get off the bandwagon, or find a new hobby not pretending to know basketball!

Duke. I didn't even root for UofL in the National Title game a few years ago. I can't ever root for them.
Yeah OK, we've played Duke 6 times in the last 30 years and they're supposed to be a rival. I guess you hate David Cutcliffe and are whatever about Bobby Petrino. I'm sorry but UL is our biggest rival to the majority of BBN.
Said this on the UNC-UL thread - I hope UL loses every game against these top ACC teams, they do not belong in the ACC in basketball and I want that to be proven. Rick Pitino has never beaten UNC and I don't think he's beaten Duke either.
And I especially hope Okafor dominates Montrezlezlezl. And the best Jones, who is Tyus, shows everyone why he is the best.

Can I root for a 5 overtime, emotionally draining, 5 foul outs on each side type of a game? If Not, I'm rooting for the roof to cave in.
Not even a question in my household. We pull for whoever is playing Louisville. The despise pecking order is clear: Louisville, Duke, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida.
You're wasting your time. This poster only posts about Louisville and Tennessee. He's like a broken record. According to him/her, UofL is not a rival at all and UT is our arch rival (lol, they laugh at us in football as it's not even a rivalry). This poster is living in the stone age. No matter how many times you prove this poster wrong with facts, he just repeats the same thing, no matter how ridiculous it is. It's like talking to a child.
I think we all pull against those teams that's victories give us the most grief in day-to-day life. I am around more insufferable Louisville and Tennessee fans therefore there is satisfaction in their humbleness. They say the same thing about Kentucky. Some have told me straight up they are Louisville fans because they hate Kentucky. So be it. Players come and go, fans remain. Therefore the fans make the rivalries.
Duke baby. I want Duke to come in and blow UofLsucksville out. All looservilles dimwitted, lack of bird brain fans are all shy high since Duke has lost two in a row. A good blow out loss on their home court would give UofLsucksville fans what they deserve. Their biggest UK haters would have to call in to their jobs the next day which means our orders at the drive thru would be correct for once. This is easy....DUKE. Because I love to listen to CPT fans whine about crooked officials, cheating coaches, and just about any other excuse they can think of. They are easily the most ignorant, delusional and insecure fan base in America. With every loss, their envy/hatred of Cal and UK is reaching epidemic proportions which makes for a delicious desert for Wildcat fans...
Just had this discussion this morning at work. You can rationalize it all you want for the sake of seedings and how how you hope a particular team finishes in their own conference. But, regardless of all that, my heart will tell me who I want to win, or lose, when I sit down to watch the game. There's no denying it when the ball is tipped and you have the uncontrollable urge to pick a side. With that said, I hope it's a tie game at the end of regulation, a freak storm happens where they can't finish it and they both lose.
The Duke and UL rivalries are not personal to me like they are for some. It is just a basketball thing. That said, I do think it is funny how UL fans take so much pride in the strength of their conference even though that have been in it for 5 minutes and then crap on the SEC which has been down lately. Eh, to answer the question, seeing UL NOT compete with the top ACC is more fun than Coach K not getting closer to his 1k so...there you have it. Go Dukies! (ewww...feels wrong).
