SIAP: Aaron Bradshaw fractures foot

The gut-wrenching irony of Calipari prioritizing Bradshaw over all the portal guys and Bradshaw won't even be available until the late-Fall.

I freaking hate "player's first", and I'm beyond sick and tired of Calipari's system.
Never forget that Cal prioritized a Transfer over a 2xAA and NPOY who was the best rebounder we have ever had. Also no backups to be seen. I can see another 9 win year coming.

Snakebit implies poor luck. That's simply not the case here. This is poor decision making by a coach who gives ZERO SHITS about UK. Cow cares about one thing only: NBA draft night, and it's that one thing that will determine if we see Bradshaw in any meaningful action.
Everything Cal touches turns to crap. Call it what you want ... everyone knows what Cal is about and it's not UKBB and Program. Cal is snakebit and UKMBB is snakebit under this clown. I am so sick of him. I can't even stand to hear the carpetbagger run his mouth.

You guys remember how we used to have a coach in the 1990s who once told a former top 2 recruit and senior-to-be Rodrick Rhodes that he could redshirt to make room for Ron Mercer and Derek Anderson? In other words, a coach who put the team's priority of WINNING ahead of the needs of individual players?

Yeah, seems like a long time ago now doesn't it?
This has never happened under Cal, nor will it. Winning isn't for everyone and that's more obvious the more we continue down this road.

Got to get Brown and Cyril for sure now.

We are down to two guys over 6’8.

Right now, it looks like Thiero will start at the 4 and Onyenso will start at the 5. Burks backs them up. And Canada is going to have to see some minutes.
This sounds very much like a worst case scenario from March. Absolutely have to get a difference maker at the 4/5 now.

Calipari, as he looked at his direct deposit of $256,000 this Friday morning:

Fat yankee bastard

Because he has not constructed a team that would be acceptable for any school from its coach.. Neglecting his responsibility is cause for termination under any contract.
You're talking nonsense. He has the #1 recruiting class in the country. He has added another talented freshman. He's getting ready to add 2 more. He may keep a talented senior guard or add another experienced player. If Cyril signs as expected, that will limit the damage done by the injury to Bradshaw.

Each season we have to go in with the thought process that one of these players will waste a scholarship, that's the trend. When's the last time we had a well constructed team 2014?

Are you saying that replacing Bradshaw is not that difficult? Oh boy, this is going to be special.

Unless UK changed their policy sometime in the last 2-3 years, then UK pays nothing for any surgery or medical bills.

UK athletes are required to carry their own medical insurance (often they’re on their parents’ plan) to cover any medical bills.

UK only pays the premiums for secondary insurance for athletes. The secondary insurance kicks in to cover any balance left after an athlete’s primary insurance has paid. And in Bradshaw’s case, his injury is also pre-existing which means the school’s plan wouldn’t cover it. It’s all on Bradshaw or his family.

At least that’s how it was up until 2019. I’m assuming that’s still the case, but could be wrong.
You mean all on Klutch. They will undoubtedly have finally say if Bradshaw plays and they're covering medical bills.

I'm saying that if they sign Cyril, the damage will be limited. They probably will struggle against the best teams without Bradshaw. They should be able to beat a lot of teams without him.

The same coach that refused to let Anderson play even after he had been cleared to play by a doctor??

Could miss the start of the season.. To say we are screwed is an understatement.

Shape 2.0, at best Vanderbilt 2.0. I’ll be suprised if he plays 5 games. My money is on Klutch sitting him out all year. He will warm up sometime, get hyped. Cal won’t see him and then a couple weeks later it was worse than they thought and he shuts it down.

Maybe Cal knew his foot problem and that he would not play until late in the season, and that is why sources said a couple of days ago they would get both Cyril and Brown. But maybe that's giving Cal too much credit.
We gonna need Brown more than ever now. And Somto.
