SIAP: Aaron Bradshaw fractures foot

Agreed. My son said he showed up each day here and there. Took a few pics and signed some stuff. BUT, there was zero instruction or actual interaction.

It flew all over me. The players were in there the last day. Antigua was in there (incredibly nice guy), but Cal couldn't pull away for the 20 minutes it took to send the kids off.

There were roughly 200 kids there. It cost 575 per overnight camper. Right at 400 for those who got picked up daily. And to top it off, the camp was called JOHN CALIPARI overnight camp. Smh.
Cal got paid. That’s all that matters to Cal.

Some cryptic messages on Bradshaws Instagram, to me he doesn’t even seem hurt. Someone go look and tell me what these messages mean. Lol

Calipari's done an incredible job lowering the bar here at UK. He's desecrating everything this program stands for, and spitting in the fact of our entire tradition.

We're going on four straight years where UK doesn't make it past the first weekend.

Think about that, gentlemen.

Get Johnny Clam Chowder out of Lexington and do it by next Spring, Mitch!
And it's not just the CRAPPY NCAA Tournament showing!! It's the TOTAL disregard for the SEC Tournament, the games against the Blue Bloods and even the HORRIBLE losses at home to MID-LING teams that used to RARELY if EVER happen!!!

He has single handedly destroyed EVERY aspect of UK Basketball while making the MOST MONEY of ANY other college coach and with that MIND BOGGLING contract, there is NOTHING we can do but take it!!! That's what make's this whole situation THE WORST!!!

I have been a fan of UK Basketball for 50 FREAKIN YEARS and can't remember EVER being this down about where we are.

-With the probation, we had Pitino that gave us hope for the future.
-Tubby, he respected the program enough to get out when he knew he was underperforming.
-Even Billy Clyde's time here was something I ALWAYS KNEW could end once it was obvious he was a joke.

But now we a STUCK and have to rely on an ARROGANT, WASHED UP, LAZY coach that just doesn't care any more.

I had a Jones fracture(5th metatarsal) they sometimes require surgery but no way he could weight bare with that injury.
Supposedly the fracture happened before his Klutch pro day.
Stress fracture shouldn't take 6 months to heal especially with the medical attention he will be receiving.

What an arrogant a$$hole but not surprising feel bad for your boy and all those campers.

You guys remember how we used to have a coach in the 1990s who once told a former top 2 recruit and senior-to-be Rodrick Rhodes that he could redshirt to make room for Ron Mercer and Derek Anderson? In other words, a coach who put the team's priority of WINNING ahead of the needs of individual players?

Yeah, seems like a long time ago now doesn't it?

Is this the same coach that put Derek Anderson's pro career ahead of the team when he was cleared to play against Arizona? Easily cost us a championship by putting the player ahead of the team. Damn that Pitino.

Cal's done after this year. He gets to go full circle with Wagner's kid, and gets another two lottery picks in before he negotiates a buyout with Kentucky before heading out west somewhere like USC or Oregon.

The buyout will probably be minimal compared to the remaining contract. I bet it's in the $10-15 million range.

Yeah none of this makes any sense. He isn't even in a boot. He would easily be healed by November.....something is amiss here and it stinks....stinks real bad. Here cones SS part 2

Can we fire our coach yet or what?? I'm so tired of this shit. And of all players it's Bradshaw. The one who was promised a position he shouldn't be playing and the alleged reason we passed on every good big in the portal. I'm raging pissed at this point.

Get Cal outta here now!! BBN deserves better

Nice try.

Anderson had been rehabbing from a torn ACL at that point for a little over 9-10 weeks.

You ever heard of a guy coming back after 9-10 weeks from a torn ACL? I know he was cleared, but Anderson wasn't comfortable with that.

Plus, Pitino asked Anderson if he wanted to play, and Pitino said it was clear that Derek wasn't comfortable with that. Maybe try doing some research.

Please be true, I'm so sick of this shit, this season is basically over before it evens starts.

Don't see much of anything. He posted a story with him sitting in a char possibly in locker room with his shoes off, no boot or any sort of support on either foot. He was wearing UK shorts.

Edit: See above.

I did my research while at that game. Again, he was cleared to play. You're pushing that a coach should always put the team first, so all you are doing is moving the goalpost and can't be taken seriously.

I'll take some of whatever you're smoking!

What coaches have negotiated themselves out of $20+ million?
And here I was thinking you'd gone back to murdering hookers.

Welcome back, old friend. Guess you ran out of trunk space, eh?

There is absolutely no reason he shouldn't be ready for start of season. The first game is in 20 weeks. If he isn't ready, he isn't playing next year.

The issue is that "waiting it out" hasn't worked for UK fans. Sharpe, Wheeler, Oscar, Reeves, Livingston, etc.

We wait, and it ends up being bad news almost every single time.

I'm expecting an NIT season next year. That's all this offseason has convinced me of.

This program is "snakebit".
Snakebit implies poor luck. That's simply not the case here. This is poor decision making by a coach who gives ZERO SHITS about UK. Cow cares about one thing only: NBA draft night, and it's that one thing that will determine if we see Bradshaw in any meaningful action
The only hope we have of a decent buyout is if this begins to affect Calipari's personal life. I don't want that to happen, but it might be inevitable. It happened to Tubby Smith and his family right before the end.
If there is such a way to quantify it, then I want Calipari hurting as much personally as the damage he's done to UK and our basketball program. Absolutely zero sympathy for him.

I remember reading a Memphis newspaper article years ago after Cal left there and came to Kentucky. The Memphis reporter said something to the effect of " Kentucky fans love him now, by the time he leaves they will hate him " And honestly, I thought the reporter was just sour grapes and FOS. Guess he knew something...
Cal has a knack for rebuilding programs and then leaving them almost worse off than he found them.

He always has his golden parachute.

Sharpe 2.0
Yes exactly and supposedly will be back just towards the same time that it'll be up in the air as to whether he plays or not etc etc. I swear there are bigger forces at work with these things than I think many comprehend.

It is strange that there was rumors of a foot injury a month ago and low and behold he has a fractured foot. It's very likely he is legit injured but I'm not going to sit here and act like the thought doesn't cross my mind that he is just protecting his draft stock because it very well has. Call me an asshole or whatever you want I don't wish ill on anyone but something feels off with this. We have no inside presence at all on this team and I don't see cal doing anything to try and change that.

We now have a GLARING hole at the 4 spot and the appropriate time to act has passed. If they can prove Cal knew the severity of the Bradshaw injury and did nothing it should be grounds for termination.

Bottom line, UK would not be in this precarious situation if decisions had been made with a program first mentality not players first. UK basketball is in tough spot but at least we didn't do anything to potentially upset Bradshaw.

"Being scared" had nothing to do with Sharpe not playing.

Good attempt at the deflection from Cal being responsible for that trash fire though. You're one of the better Calipari propagandists who still exists on this message board.
That sunshine pumping crap wont work with me. I dont give a rats arse about the man. I do however care about our kids and our team. Sharpe didnt play because he was scared his stock would drop or maybe he was injured and he was scared he could get more injured. Whatever the reason, the one thing stands clear. He was scared. Book that!!

Imagine the chaos some would bring if we lost the final game because Calipari held a player out that was cleared to play and was going pro soon after, LOL. #MobileGoalsposts # GoalpostsOnWheels

The fans have completely turned on Calipari. We will witness the freefall in full motion this season. I'm expecting that it will get really ugly, really quickly.
