With class registration starting in late March and athletes receiving priority registration, I imagine a majority, if not all, of the guys who leave early register for summer and fall classes. CATS (athlete academic support services) probably walks all athletes through registration.

This whole thing reminds me of when I got out of college I worked at a place where these people were under constant worry they were going to be laid off. I did not work for that company but was assigned to work with them. I came into work one Monday and the guy I worked with mostly got a brand new company truck. He made the statement that there's no way they gave me a brand new truck and are going to lay me off so this is really good news. That Friday he got laid off.

Only thing I can think of, is there might be a maturity issue with SS that his camp wants to work on before he goes to the league.

I can't think of another reason for this guy to go to college when he's already a lottery pick.

The other thing is, the lying. If he ends up going to the draft this year and everyone involved knew he was draft eligible from the beginning, then why feed us the bullshit that we have been fed? Why not just tell the truth?

I still don't get why someone would start a new account… on an anonymous message board, just because they said what they felt at the time.

I may be wrong, but doesn't class registration end soon? I think he's just filling out his schedule to "cover all angles" in the event he does return. No harm in doing so, doesn't cost a dime to schedule classes.

Correct. But it’s at least some positive news Bc if he was certain he was staying in the draft he would likely declare prior to the end of registration and not bother covering bases
