I think one things folks aren’t factoring is Sharpe playing midseason most likely means he wouldn’t be himself mindset wise . Could see him not wanting to be aggressive because he doesn’t want to piss off the other guys .
If he played timid for us and left I’d still be disappointed especially since the hype of next years class with him.

They were just talking about this on KSR.....someone asked Matt about Bruce Pearl's comments about Biden and whether or not that would bother him if he was the coach at Kentucky. Matt said why would he care about anything Pearl does as long as he is winning basketball games?

Well I’m all for slamming everyone involved if he doesn’t play this year or doesn’t come back next year. But until it happens, I’m not having a meltdown. I wouldn’t have a meltdown anyway. Bigger issues to deal with than that. Lol
I’d like to win the big games. Especially the ones at the end of the season. A talent like Sharpe helps you do to that, whether this year or next. Worried isn’t really the right word. People are angry. And feel like a dude that’s been a salesman his whole professional career, just sold us another clunker that we thought was a classic.
Join us when it becomes a reality. Or when this does: he plays sparingly, then has a ghost injury, then sits again.

Don’t misunderstand me. I’ll be disappointed if Sharpe doesn’t play. And i do want another championship…and maybe Sharpe playing is our best chance at that or maybe he’s not

Biggest backlash for Cal will be not making the Final Four in 2022. That will be SEVEN years. I'm pulling for UK to make it, but if he goes SEVEN years without a Final Four while getting paid almost 10 million dollars a year it's going to get hard pretending he's worth it.
If yokels like us on a message board have cottoned to the dishonesty inherent in Cal's behavior vis-a-vis Sharpe, then most certainly some donors, alumni, and higher-ups at UK have noticed it too.
The crazy thing is that so many who adore him won’t admit to thinking he was one of the biggest sleaze bags in the game before he landed here. The only time they rooted for him was in a national title game against Bill Self.
Cal just got asked a question about Sharpe. He cut the guy off and said Sharpe plans to be here this year and next but at the end of the day he's gonna be for these kids

Dude ain't ever gonna play here. He'll practice, keep his body in shape and then bolt. This season is half over and Cal says Sharpe isn't ready to play. That's Cal-speak for "he isn't playing here".
As soon as learns the weave he's in the rotation !! .. Man I'm just kidding , he's been seen around Lex carrying a notebook full of our OOB plays , when he gets those down , dude is good to go .
