This team isn’t going anywhere because they have the same old underachieving coach. PERIOD.

There is not a roster in college basketball that has more talent on it. You have three potential lottery picks this year and also three guys who will be picked in either the late first or early second round. And then you have guys on this roster that will head to the NBA after next season.

This isn't about reading press clippings. You think the top teams who have by and large stayed in the top 5 to 10 this season aren't having those issues? This is just plain POOR COACHING that is manifesting itself. You've got a Thiero who KNOWS that with the addition of Z, and Cal's unwillingness to take out Edwards, that he's not going to get much playing time when he comes back. You've got Edwards who possesses ZERO on-court awareness trying to direct his team while he jogs his way back. You've got Dilly who is unwilling to cut, and instead just wants to put his head down and drive at the basket regardless of who's waiting for him. You've got Mitchell who wants the ball near the basket, but is afraid of contact and will shoot it as long as his man promises to not breathe. You've got Reed who seems more and more not as athletic as the rest and not willing to step up and shoot his team to victory. These are all things that are correctable and addressable. IF you have a coach that's up to the task.

This was a crap loss, especially losing so badly. That beingnsaid anyone with half a brain can see we have a team capable. Have to learn and grow and play better. We have a squad, we haven't had a team like this in a decade. Losses happen, I still like my team.
