Rupp Rafters NBA Legends GM Draft Round 10 Aike OTC

In today’s game he could certainly play the 4 and 5 position depending the build of the 4..

Think I’ll take my chances with AD or Bosh covering Peja. Not sure he would fair well the other way around.

I know that they’d have to come out and guard him... which fairs well for the rest of team.

Peja wouldn’t be assigned to AD every possession obviously unless AD is playing the entire game.

This was a very hard choice. As I had a couple other players in mind. But I've got to go with a guard who was a knockdown shooter and who will be perfect coming off the bench for me. I'm taking Mark Price.

In today’s game he could certainly play the 4... and he’s going to open up a lot of opportunities for a 5 man.

He could play the “5” if the 4 was a hybrid defensive player too.

There is no one on my roster so far that wouldn't twist Peja into a pretzel and make him cry.

He could play the 4 in today's game, but he can't play it in this tournament. It's not just him though. We'll start picking out the other weak links when the matchups are set.

He would probably be stuck trying to cover AD or Bosh. And you don’t really have a post presence on offense. But whatever. We may not even play.

Give me guy who thrived coming off the bench and still managed to be one of the best in the league, Manu Ginobili. Manu has a career PER above 20 as well as being a key in all of those spur championships. The euro step will be coming out in full force off of my bench.

@gossie21 you’re OTC

Who does golden state or Houston specifically go to on the post?

But anyways I don’t have a specific post guy that’s only going to the post, you’re right.. didn’t want that.

I was saying that pulling those guys away from the basket doesn’t help you as much as it would if you had a post presence.

Malone and Dirk are post bodies on a possession basis & spacing with them is just as important.

And Mutombo..not a first option post presence I know but would be defined as a presence but obv more importantly on the defensive side.

I'm not in love with any one option right here, but I know that I need some scoring punch with my second unit, so I might as well go full homer here.

In only his 3rd season in the NBA he has already put up a 70 point game (only the 6th all-time), at any point in the season it wouldn't be uncommon to see a statistical graphic showing him as among other all-time great players with equal or greater statistics at this same stage. His career arc is closely following Kobe Bryant, and like Kobe he has the NBA heritage.

Give me Devin Booker, SG.

@miracle7s is OTC
I think Manu was very underrated for what he did with the Spurs. He knows how to play with great players so he was a perfect fit at this point.
He's the kind of complementary player that helps win championships. He doesn't need the ball to make plays, and you don't have to run plays to get him open. He is incredibly efficient, and once caught a bat on Halloween in the middle of a game.

However, he is one of the absolute worst floppers the game has ever seen. And I hate him.

Man there are still a lot of guys out there that I can't believe are still on the board. Especially since we've seen the Penny's, Grant Hill's, T Mac's, and others who only had a handful or less of good seasons. I'll take a guy who produced in a major way for 10 seasons, was multiple time NBA All Star, and the number 1 pick in the 1981 draft. Give me Mark Aguirre @UKNorse OTC

Kareem couldn't make your momma cry.

Peja will not be needed for defense.. in fact he’s only needed to make people like you underestimate him so he can drop 25

I will agree that his natural position is a 3

Give me Nate Tiny Archibald... he is still the only player to lead the league in points and assists for an entire season. 6x allstar, 5x All-NBA 1x scoring champion, 1x assists leader and a Hall of Famer.

He was on my list.

To anchor my 2ndteam frontline, give me the man Shaq had this to say about: "He could play inside, he could play outside, and if it weren't for the injuries he could've been one of the top 5 centers to ever play the game."
