Wrong. Briscoe continued to drive and get fouled and miss FTs. Lee got a couple of baskets, Poythress got a dunk.

Briscoe did not go to the line ONCE in the entire 2nd half. He did get there twice in OT, missing all three shots but by then KU was not playing their triangle and two any more.

Of course. I mean I don't expect him to come out and say hey we were screwed by the refs. But he had a choice in what he can say. He didn't have to say what he did. I think it's telling. He knows there's issues here especially with the bigs. I mean ignoring it at this point is silly.

Most people in this thread tho are focusing on the 47 free throws that KU attempted. That has nothing to do when them fouling us. But honestly can you say we were that aggressive in getting to the hoop to even get fouled? I mean besides Briscoe? Ulis got into the lane alot in the first half but alot of his shots were jumpers. Then in the second half, even Tyler couldn't get into the lane. We just weren't as aggressive as they were.

The refs did not cost UK this game. We had a chance to win at the end of regulation and had a miscue. Our bigs had a hard time defending without fouling tonight. I know it's tough to lose a close game we had a chance to win but you really make yourself look petty when you whine about the officials. It was a great game and we saw that the Cats have a great chance to be right there at the end in march. GBB!

There were three obvious fouls on KU in the last 10 minutes. One of which we actually scored on. However one of the most crucial was when Ulis got the rebound and two KU player sandwiched him for the steal and then KU scores the three. That was the game right there. Also on one of Ulis drives he got nailed while making the layup. Should have been an and one.

And it was nice for the kids to take a break from the grind of conference play and just get to play a non-con where the pressure of win/lose isn't as much. Our offense was running WAY better up until a few weeks ago. Mason is struggling the last few weeks and wasn't very good against UK and Ellis got into foul trouble right off the bat and never got into a rhythm but Selden stepped up and took over and covered up a lot of warts for us.
