Something to get excited about. Guy's 6'5 upper 270s. UK apparently recruited him out of HS, from Cincy I think.
Doesn't mean he's not a good player, maybe that's why he wants to move on from OSU.

They had several good DL and signed the top 2 out of the '21 class. This is simply attrition
In my experience in over 10 years on this board, almost any thread more than 2 pages is almost certainly VERY off the original topic, lol!
Stoops has this same kind of thing too. He likes to make teams work down the field and play the odds of the other team stubbing their toe at some point, etc. But when you play these teams like we did this year in MIss St and UT that were exposing us in different ways you have to play more of a gamble d and try to get negative plays or turnovers with extra pressures and all of that. The last series of the UT game we started sending extra guys and they struggled with it completing the same passes…having to throw it a little earlier or just feeling the pressure on a throw….The pass rush has to be able to put pressure on the qb in those pass heavy offenses when they can hit their throws. However you have to do it. You have to become more of a playmaking d than maybe you prefer but you have to do it if that’s what it takes to get a pass rush
Right . I’m just saying you can’t blame OSU’s poor run defense on him if he wasn’t on the field.

He was a 4 star out of HS two years. Definitely worth looking at. Not sure what he's done at Auburn
All you can really see is their HS rankings as they haven't played much but a former high 4 star OT, a 3 star cb, a 5 star LB though I'm sure we will go back to Texas
The 5 star LBer evidently is a talented TE as well, he might be slated for that side of the ball. I don't remember him out of high school. Marcus Banks ended up at Miss. St. instead of Miami. Wish we could have got involved with that one.
Billingsly is the TE, the 5 star LB is Drew sanders. He played some this year but broke his hand

That may be true, the fifth player in the portal is also a former high 4 star LB from GA
I read about several players. I probably got him mixed up. Was he playing outside backer? Maybe Mike Stoops has some connections, we could use some help on the edge.
Looks like outgoing transfers Gibson landed at marshal and Tisdale at Valdosta state. Good luck to those young men
Tisdale might wind up a Little All-American at VSU. Gibson should get some run at Marshall. Won't be surprised if he winds up on an all conference team.
Surprised UK didn’t pick up 1 or 2 DBs out of the portal before the start of this semester.
Frazier is the #1 or #2 juco CB depending on the service. We could still use some help there.
Matt Jones just namedropped corners from Colorado & Georgia who are in the portal. Usually he doesn't do this unless something going on.
The one from UGA makes sense to me. UGA plays coverage similar to UK and he only has a year I believe. Gives the staff a veteran back there without upsetting the apple cart for the young guys.
Pretty certain they can still enroll through Friday. That's the add deadline, and deadline for late enrollment. Getting tight, to be certain. Might hinge on how organized and truly motivated the transfer recruit is.
Not sure how a last second visit can be sched and done for a decision by Friday
