What's the consensus on Robinson & Butler?

The impact of an injury to a team is complicated. It’s often confusing or out right contradictory.
It ALL depends on whether the injured players will DEFINITELY return or not. Then, it boils down to how close they can come back to being at least 90%.

The "confusion, contradiction and complication" comes when the above is NOT conveyed correctly.

Starting to wonder if we are erring on the side of caution with these guys, rather than re-injure. Probably a good strategy.

How is it pessimistic to say Kentucky needs 2 all SEC caliber guards back, and that they can’t survive any longer without them
pessimistic (adjective)

1. tending to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen:

Failure to survive seems like "the worst will happen." I appreciate you don't mean they will really die. But "can't survive" would seem to imply the season is about to be over. That's...pessimmistic. Nothing hard about that.

You think the worst case is coming without those guys. Expecting the worst case=pessimism. You're trying to argue over definitions, and you're wrong.

And you’re trying to be politically correct and over analyzing the situation and statement.

No. Not at all. There's nothing PC to consider. It's a definition. You made a pessimistic statement. You're trying to say it's not one. You're just wrong.

Politically correct usually implies saying something in a way such as to not offend someone. I'm not at all afraid to offend you. I think you have a poor understanding of the word pessimistic. There's nothing PC about that.

Maybe you ALSO have a bad understanding of "politically correct." Your posts read like a 15 year old kid. Maybe you'll still learn these things in high school.
