Life comes at you fast.

2 points here for our favorite Villager.

1) Trump offered every single one of those 'workers trying to better their families lives', a free flight home, $1,000 and a better opportunity to come back legally and vetted.

They didn't take that deal? Screw every single one of those idiots. Too stupid to be here.

2) the article you cited is 4+ months of Biden and less than 2 months of Trump.

Conclusion: Your timeout didn't make you any more intelligent, or wise, just maybe even more hyperbolic and moronic.

A shame.
I think Wall Street and American business owners might not agree with your hot take on the "great" job your guy is doing.

I literally only want two things from our Federal government:
  • Protectionism of American jobs
  • Protectionism of American borders
This is why I support Trump.

And why I want to punch 99% of economists in the face.
You are longing for a world and economy that will never exist again. You and Trump just don't know it yet.
While you guys figure it out, the rest of us are going to suffer economic pain until responsible adults are placed back into power.
Even the one thing Trump has done of note (the border) is eventually going to be undone. We need immigrants.
The reason he is going after children and hard working immigrants now is because the vuolent criminal numbers were never as high as he claimed.
Those numbers have already dried up so he's desperate to appear to be doing something that isn't drawing attention to the fact he is destroying our economy and driving us off a cliff.

False as usual from you.

It's like a cinder block landed on sam's head, and erased 40 IQ points.
At this point in Trump's presidency....you really need to be adding IQ points for my ability to spot a NYC con man a mile away.
He's swindled your retirement savings for his tax break faster than you can say, "DOGE".
Ask Elon about the DOGE smoke and mirrors or the Epstein file.

Absolutely not. Criticize away. There is plenty to choose from. And I don't know what party you're referring to.

You're free to express your opinions, and I'm free to express mine. And mine come down to this: We're better off than we were under Biden. You say it's not an either or, but it always IS. It's a rigged game, I don't like it anymore than you do. But I'm still going to vote for the better of the two choices, and it's my right to defend that choice if I want to.
This has nothing to do with voting. That's our problem - we all just fall into line and vote for whoever we're told to vote for. And when things inevitably don't work out, we hear, "vote harder next time!" I'm done with it. And I'll wager that I'm not the only one. If Trump shocks me with some master plan he pulls out of his sleeve, great. But in the meantime I've had it with all this crap.

And you say I'm free to express my opinions - great. But if you condescend to me, you're going to get an earful. I'm not going to be gaslighted by weak-spined sycophants just because we voted for the same guy. If he's wrong, I'm going to call him out, regardless of whether or not I voted for him. You want to bury your head in the sand and pretend everything's fine, that's your business.

Didn't say he was stupid.

Trying to build a society where it is impossible is stupid.

I like a lot about Musk. The Mars thing is laughable.

It took a long time for Earth to go from single celled life to somewhat complex life.
For life on Mars, don’t you need to know Mars science, rather the Earth science? I have this feeling that Musk has hired people of all expertise. I believe he believes his Mars talk. Regardless, he is a catalyst for space travel.

The sooner it gets fixed the better. But if I'm Trump I tell Musk I expect a public apology for the Epstein garbage.

MAGA somehow is going to miss the irony after years of speculating that Epstein was murdered by Hillary or Bill or Antifa or whatever thought that passes through those empty skulls, that the sitting President at the time was Trump and his attorney General was Bill Barr. Trump certainly had reasons to want Epstein dead, in that they two had a 15 to 20. year documented relationship of chasing women all over New York and Florida.

The right loves to call anyone that may not be in the cult "pedos" and "human traffickers", yet you conveniently look the other way on all things Trump. The fact that Elon used this against Trump is startling, and I would guess is a signal that both know where the others bodies are buried so they should proceed with caution. Frankly, Epstein or no, they have both done serious damage to our nation that will be exposed over time.

Let me guess that the conspiracy talk over Epstein is going to slow to crawl.

There have been plenty of great men, brilliant men all through history who also have had self-destructive qualities...prone to impulsive words or behaviors. Let their ego get the best of them etc.

Which is more likely? That this is some 4d chess where Musk is using one of the biggest microphones in the world (his X account) to call the President a pedophile and it is all part of some elaborate plan?...or is it more likely that Musk, known for incredibly impulsive outbursts and also known to accuse almost everyone he disagrees with of having been on Epstein Island, went too far? I'm playing the odds here and going with the latter.

If the Epstein files drop tomorrow, and destroys a bunch of Dems than I will admit I was wrong. But there really is no excuse for Musk saying it really. Every other difference, even strong disagreements about the bill, tariffs, and the head of NASA...those rifts were more easily repairable over time.

I'm not trying to argue with you, we are good friends, just find the idea this is all part of some masterplan farcical. Especially considering comments from Trump's press secretary today and comments this week from Miller towards Elon. I hope they find a way to patch things up quickly.
Don't forget the third possibility: That both men are wrong. You can see the seeds of that possibility in both of their childish overreactions, airing their dirty laundry in public. Notice the Democrats have suddenly fallen silent. That should terrify us.

Elon is wrong for going off on Trump. Trump is wrong for betraying Elon and his MAGA voters, and both of them are wrong for making this divorce public.

Numerous conservatives here back the blue no matter what

We have an entire generation of young men that have been to war and taught how to deal with enemy combatants. They return home and join the local police force and treat someone with a signal light out as though they are an enemy combatant. A free society cannot be free with this type of action being supported by the government.
You know a lot of law enforcement or still riffing on that one bad experience? Gather all of your former military friends and give them your enemy combatant theory. I am sure they will appreciate it.

Oh, so you know more than Epstein’s LEAD defensive atty? Tell us more. Im dying to read more words of your infinite wisdom

I already called that earlier. The Elon "plant" thing.

I wonder if it would help some folks on here, if we could arrange for a series of guest lectures on various topics such as, the economy, markets and investing, basics of the Constitution etc.

Ash, on the off chance that I'm not blocked, THIS is me be being condescending. And it's only first gear.
Stop humble bragging, I'm not impressed.

Why don't you explain how blowing up the debt is going to save us, given that we can't even SERVICE the debt INTEREST right now.

The purpose is living free.

You can go cheer your heroes beating jaywalkers. I will post a video of what you and your back the blue pals support.

Going to get your mail is illegal if an officer is speeding through your neighborhood.

Trumps blanket qualified immunity for JBTP is problematic.

Trump appears to be losing his mind. Shouldn't be having this divorce in public. Elon was probably frustrated because Trump stabbed him in the back, and I don't blame him for criticizing this monstrosity of a bill. Trump swore he would never pass another bill like this back in his first term and he's already gone back on that promise.

We elected Trump for fiscal responsibility and he's essentially effed us over. If he's losing his shit we're toast, b/c the Dems are self immolating on their own and yet the GOP can't get its shit together.
I voted for Trump to get the illegals out of our country. You’re living in a dream world if you thought our politicians were going to cut spending.

Tilting at windmills is now THE THING.

1. He didn't say he "would pardon Diddy" but that he would consider pardoning those wrongly convicted.

2. Didn't say he "would give blanket immunity for all situations."

3. The world is corrupted. Deciding to sit on your hands because you've been wronged or feel you've been wronged is not a solution, but acceptance of whatever comes your way.

4. Still 2 weeks from 5 months into this 4yr presidency, and already giving up. Thought for a minute I was on the UK football forum.

5. Rage is addictive and social media is geared to produce the rage response. It's really hard to hold back from projecting or transferring when you're going through a personal crisis. I hope all currently doing so are able to better their situations through sound decision making rather than succumbing to the rage impulse.

Anyone notice how it attracted the flies to this thread that haven't been here in a while? Your choice whether you want to feed them.

They investigated themselves and found no wrong doing.

Will be praying that God intervenes in your situation.

Have no idea what happened, but I know some can be very abusive of their authority. My buddy saw a friend get assaulted by police and asphalt ground into his face because someone else yelled into a drive-thru speaker at a fast food place. It definitely happens.

True "blanket immunity" is the end of all rights in a society. Neither manufacturers nor govt should have it.

Not one thing you posted is even remotely accurate.

Dang dude I hope all comes out alright for you. Do I back the Blue, heck to the yes. To no end??? Only God, My Darling, and my family.

Take this for what it is worth. President Trump saved this country. I am thankful!

I'd love one time to tell President Trump that in person. Heck, I'd like to just say that to Hegseth and get it delivered.
Seems Nail likes to take things to their most extreme conclusion.
- Unless you are ACAB, you openly pine for living in a totalitarian police state.
- Trump says he supports some immunities for police with some exceptions and it's "Trump wants blanket immunity for Cops"
- Trump makes a vague comment in reference to a question about pardoning Diddy and suddenly "Trump said he would absolutely Pardon Diddy"

This situation is not unlike when your two good friends start hating each other and then you are being compelled to pick a side. Honestly, there really is only one side at this point for me. Until Trump screws things up (he has not yet) that is who I go with. I have not read the BBB and probably will not, but as long as we are going in the right direction (so far we are) I will support Trump. If he makes a mistake and it is not big, so what as long as the other areas are running the way he promised. Biden and the left screwed the pooch and now we have someone at least trying to fix it and, in most areas, doing well.
I'm not going to pick a side. I still like Musk and Trump both and will just not be afraid to call out either for doing something dumb. I don't think any of us know the true motives for this dispute until more is brought forth. I'm not a fan of what Elon has posted about Trump, nor am I a fan of how Trump turns on some people as well. But I know they both are trying to do good things that benefit Americans or the world in Elon's case. So I choose to be an independent thinker and not choose sides.
