I'm going to say this once more, and I'm out for the night.

If the average voter got what they wanted, and the Federal government actually DID slash the budget and raise taxes by amounts significant enough to make a solid dent in the National Debt, those same voters, that didn't have the stomach for TARIFFS, would absolutely sh*t their pants. It would get UGLY, and I mean RIGHT QUICK...

When is he going to deport all the Haitians eating dogs & The Cartels taking over cities. They’re only roughing up dishwashers and guys installing shingles so far.

And I have to say this before I log off for the weekend....

I don't think a 3rd party more IN THE MIDDLE is AT ALL an answer, and is clearly not logical. If we are going to start a 3rd party it needs to be MORE CONSERVATIVE than the RINOs/CINOs and regressive Democrat uniparty. Not more towards the middle.

The middle is part of the problem because they're ok with other people's money being stolen as long as they can maintain THEIR standard of living. The "free-trade" bullsht from virtue-signaling "libertarians" is just one example.

Oh, and while we've apparently got the "bitchies" flowin around here...

Flawed systems are flawed!! (Gasp)
Choosing to scapegoat the only president in over 30 years to actually try to do something about it is really just hysterics.
People are flawed!! (Gasp)
Try to put together a team of 20 people for a job that requires 20 people from among a pool of known criminals like what you see in Congress. Let's see how much sht you get done at all, much less in 4 months. The president can't do it all, and he definitely can't magically make your 401k do well. It's pretty asinine to think he can.

Markets go up and down everywhere. If you let it ride in the same investments year over year you will experience the peaks and troughs more than someone that actively trades, selling when the stock is up, and buying and/or dollar cost averaging when it is down.

If someone owns stock in something that has bottomed out and the company is still healthy, and they buy more of it now, they will come out really well when it goes back up.

Dude, do what?

I'm talking about truly autonomous vehicles.

They aren't commercially available yet, but the ones being tested (one company has 800 vehicles on the road) already have a significantly higher fatality % than those operated without It. I was surprised to hear the data gjven by the news outlet that reported it.

Tesla fsd most recent software has billions of miles and comparatively have almost 10x less deaths than humans.

That's assisted, not self-driving, regardless of what it says. And I've yet to see per vehicle stats on the driving assist options.

'The company would like to point out that "the comparison was also made using the most recent data from NHTSA and the FHWA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Federal Highway Administration), according to which, on average, a car accident occurs every 670,000 miles or so in the United States.
  • Miles per accident with active driver assistance: 7.63 million
  • Miles per accident with driver assistance deactivated: 955,000
  • Average mileage per accident in the United States: 670,000'.

Edit to add. Maybe in a Toyota camry and some fool falls asleep with assistive cruise control or something.

That ain't tesla FSD. trust me, I drive one. It's absolutely mind-blowing. Do the test drive.

Thanks for the info. If I'm ever interested I will check out the Tesla.

You said a couple months ago Musk was jist trying to get richer and get subsidies and contracts for his companies...weird how that all changed
Two things can both be true at the same time. He was benefitting from government contracts. Trump even said so today while slamming him.
But he obviously wanted to cut government spending or he wouldn't be calling out Trump for his gawd awful bill and his trips to Epstein Island.
Everything I predicted with this administration is actually worse than I imagined. It's a train wreck and you ALL know it.
Midterms are gonna be a disaster for the MAGA party.

Well, I hoped you perhaps got some semblance of sense shocked into your brain, but based on your next post, I hoped in vain.
I will give Trump credit for one thing. He has done a good job taking control of the border. Going after criminal illegals is AOK with me and the overwhelming majority of Americans.
It's the rounding up of workers and those that are doing nothing but trying to make a better life for themselves and their children that is wrong imo.
I also agree with his no trans in sports EO.
That said...His tariffs, foreign policy, Bribe Force One Jet, Epstein Island files blockade, and DOGE for thee.....No taxes for me Bill is trash.
Prices are up, the economy is stalling, the deficit is going thru the roof and nobody in their right mind thinks this is a competent administration.

2 points here for our favorite Villager.

1) Trump offered every single one of those 'workers trying to better their families lives', a free flight home, $1,000 and a better opportunity to come back legally and vetted.

They didn't take that deal? Screw every single one of those idiots. Too stupid to be here.

2) the article you cited is 4+ months of Biden and less than 2 months of Trump.

Conclusion: Your timeout didn't make you any more intelligent, or wise, just maybe even more hyperbolic and moronic.

A shame.

Just for the record.

And it improves every couple of months with a free over the air software update.

Edit to add: I don't have any affiliation with tesla, other than driving one. And it's unrealistic how advanced it is. Like 2007 iPhone/ flip phone with no internet difference.

Had my first ride in a Tesla yesterday in Salzburg Austria. Uber ride to Old Town.

Seemed quite responsive (Uber/taxi drivers use the "gas" pedal like an on/off switch: full on or full off lol).

Fit and finish was nice.

I'm not an EV guy AT ALL... but if I had a daily commute I'd at least consider a Tesla.

Theirs is a very similar argument to what the left has had for generations against religion.

I hear them say the founding fathers gave them freedom FROM religion, meaning they shouldn't ever have to hear about God or gods of any kind. They're adamant about this angle even though it's not there to be found. It's the same thing as saying I want the freedom to criticize without having to hear a dissenting opinion.

Emotion does that to reason. It's like an acid that corrodes the brain til there's no longer any ability to see the hypocrisy of it.
Just for better context are you thinking lysergic or sulfuric?

My first Tesla ride happened back 2 months ago from ABIA to home. Impressive. Driver from Afghanistan and initially refused tip.

Sounds like you're enjoying life. Safe travels. I fly over to Frankfurt in just under 4 weeks.

It's funny, I'm starting to hear Steven in the voice of Charles Bukowski "beat style" WTF? that last one was what did it.

I'm not even kidding. Go back and read it, and tell me that isn't 50's Bay area coffee house poetry. LOL This is going to haunt me.
Me and Burford don't get into politics like those beatniks with their hair down on their shirt collar.
