Rand Paul is a grandstanding, do nothing, bonehead. Can't believe his dad is really Ron Paul. That apple got kicked a mile down the road before it found bottom. Has he sponsored or authored ANYTHING since he's been there? I honestly don't know.

I would like to think better of him, but he and the rest of his cronies haven't done sht in either Trump admin.
I'm 50/50 on Rand. Obviously gonna vote for him over any liberal, and I think he tries to mean well, especially with his reports on government waste and his dismantling of Fauci over the Covid Sham. I get it he wants to curb spending, we all do, but his obstructionism gets infuriating at times. I know he's opposed to the tariffs, but is this more about the bill containing a raise to the debt ceiling?

Speaking of Fauci, has he gone into hiding since his security has been canceled? Hunt that bastard down like they did Bin Laden!

Rand Paul is a nepo baby who got his ass kicked by his neighbor. Lives in fantasy libertarian land and doesn't represent the values of Kentucky. We should primary him.

I just read this on some comments about Bono on Joe Rogan.

Bono was on stage slowly clapping and he said every time I clap a child in Africa dies. A loud Scottish voice yelled out "then stop clapping you bastard".

As far as pieces of sht go, Bono is the total package. He's been fleecing the world since the 80s and not giving more than a morsel back to anyone that needs it. He's as bad as the "child trafficking awareness" people that are actually trafficking children.

Girthang, i usually agree with most of the times. But giving Trump Admin only 5 months to destroy what the Dems have done to our country for 16 out of the last 20 years. Do you really think Trump can fix this in 5 months? The dems are doing everything they can to slow trump down and you know better.

So, lemme see if I can follow Democrat logic:

A. Tariffs are bad and we shouldn't do them
B. Trump always chickens out on tariffs and he should stand his ground more

Huh.
Just try to stay focused for a brief moment, because this is really easy.

Tariff's are simply a tax. Once upon a time Republicans supported small government, limited taxation, and free trade.

Regardless of who is assessed the tax or the tariff, the consumer almost always ends up paying in the end.

Most lay people, and economic experts, find tariffs troubling at best, because most of us don't like paying more for goods and services on top of ordinary inflation. Not only that, tariffs we impose tend to work against us as our trading partners impose retaliatory tariffs.

Here's the really important part, so read closely and learn.

Wall Street and our money markets generally don't respond well to tariffs for reasons mentioned above. When Trump first announced massive tariffs, the markets took a substantial hit. Then the Trump regime found out quickly that when he would announce tariffs, the markets would sink, when he announced relaxing or eliminating tariffs, the markets would rise. This fact enabled many of his top supporters to make huge profits on their investments if they had inside information. They would sell before the markets fell and then buy before the markets rose. Great work if you can get it.

At this point, Trump has been so inconsistent with his tariffs, that Wall Street traders no longer worry about Trumps announcements as they have decided he's just full of sh*t, and will never follow through enough to hurt them. Thus the phrase on Wall Street, Trump Always Chickens Out. I personally hope he does.

I can buy some of that but not the crypto. The us government tried anything and everything to kill crypto. They certainly wont be pushing anyone to something they cant control.
Straight gubbmint digital currency.
Then they can control what you purchase.
Mr. Sanity appears to have plenty of guns...purchase denied!
Mr. Sanity wants a V8 engine when we told him to buy electric...denied!
Seems like a wonderful lib commie idea.

All sounds great and makes for great theater but he never really does jack sht. If he REALLY wanted to curb spending, he would've proposed bills targeting specific waste. He would've brought solution after solution forward.

The truth is in his actions rather than his words. He hasn't done fk all about anything he's said or grilled someone over. The only time he came close, his neighbor went waterboy on him. He backed down from that fight as well, both during and afterward.

He's better than a liberal, but it doesn't really take much.

My post didn't address the administration.

I'm talking about Congress. The Republican Party screwed Trump over in the 1st 2 years of his 1st term, and they're sitting on their hands again this time. They could've already had the fraud and waste DOGE has found codified into a bill eliminating them and ready to be amended as they find more. They could've put together a bill that makes such waste and fraud treasonous and subject to immediate prosecution.

They've had lots of time, because they haven't been doing jack, while Trump and his admin have been working their assets off. We need good, hard working conservatives in those seats that'll get sht done, because the ones we have are better at delaying and putting things off than a bank that owes you money.

In February of 2018 Trump had to pay $25 million dollars for creating a scam involving a real estate scam built around a fraudulent university. Is that specific enough for you, counselor? In early 2024 Trump was adjudicated for defrauding the state of New York for overvaluing his assets for insurance purposes and to increase his ability to procure loans, while undervaluing these same assets for tax purposes? Is that specific enough? In mid 2024, he was found guilty of 34 felonies by a jury of random citizens, for trying to pay off a porn star he had relations while, cheating not only on his wife but another soft core mistress..is that specific enough? In November of 2019 Trump was found to have misused funds from his charitable foundation, and admitted misusing these funs in the agreement. Is that specific enough?

Trump is a criminal and I'll be here to remind you that you and the other folks on this board supported a criminal regime.
WTF? Look, I don’t want to “debate” someone who is suffering from a mental illness such as schizophrenia or multiple personality disorder, but you are off your rocker if you think your post has anything to do with what you or I previously posted. Wow. Just wow.

Girthang, i usually agree with most of the times.

Thanks, btw. I appreciate that, and you, even if we occasionally have a difference of opinion.

That goes for the whiney people on the football and basketball board also.

The dems are doing everything they can to slow trump down and you know better.

The dems are only 8/10ths of the problem. The rinos in congress and on the court are the other 20%. Trump&Co is like a Clydesdale dragging a team of 10 donkeys (with two wearing baby elephant masks) across a field. Whether they want to or not, that field is going to get ploughed, by either them cooperating OR them DRAGGING their FEET. Might as well be part of the solution and maybe continue to hold a seat, instead of letting the world know they're worthless and don't represent the best interests of "the people."

"...overvaluing his assets for insurance purposes ..."

Tell me you don't know sht about business in just 6 words.

"...the other folks on this board supported a criminal regime...."

Succinct illustration of "pointing a finger at someone else leaves 3 pointing back at you" and "open your mouth, insert foot" etc... How could anyone be so stupid as to say the things these lib tweaks say?

"Trump paid..."

How's that money-laudering first family of your doing?
How's Al Sharpton's tax repayment going?
Bono's?
CGI paid their fines and debts yet?
Served their time?
Has the 93B in fraudulent loans been recovered that the last admin doled out before leaving office?
Now that it's been revealed (been proven true) that Biden was not of sound mind the past 4 years, does that fraud of an admin not become the definition of a criminal enterprise (admin)?

How have the libs not choked on the Biden and Dem jewels yet? They love them some Schweaty balls....

Look, we all want this spending bill to cut a lot more, but the simple, obvious, 100% truth is that the vast majority of R’s in Congress have zero spine to cut a penny out of a budget. They want to act fiscally tough in front of cameras, but behind closed doors they don’t care what we spend or what we borrow as long as they get their dirty kick-backs.

Our system is simply broken and there’s too much power and money and, likely, blackmail material floating around to ever let it be changed.

It’s sad really what leftist ideologues/ideology did/do/does to these people.

That guy is no different.

Seriously.

What am I missing here? Isn't it Trump who is pushing this bill more than anyone else? And now Rand Paul is against it and Trump and people on this board are trashing him?

Its a long game. The initial whiplash needed tax reform help but didn't get it. Hopefully they slow @ss pubs fan finally get it done.

Once people have more money in their pocket to offset tariff price increases, it will be an explosion.
The dims nor the Rinos want them to work or for him to succeed. The country be damned according to them.

We are barely 5 months into Trump's term, and this was a big part of his campaign. Paul and Massie are grandstanding and looking like complete idiots in regards to their support of something that is vital to what Trump's plans are for the economy. It isn't rocket science. If this doesn't pass at some point, then house takeover from the morons in '26 is highly possible.

Lot of truth in this. But Trump is pushing it harder than anyone. He’s no different than any one up there. He loves to spend as well. You just have to hope he spends it on good stuff.

"While Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal strut through Kyiv, Ukraine, jaw-dropping State Department records have just dropped on USA Spending, revealing their extravagant hotel expenses.

On June 1, 2025, two staggering transactions surfaced: one for a mind-blowing $403,172 and another for an eye-popping $411,634. The question on everyone’s mind—what justifies this astronomical spending any why this much?"

What you usually miss. You drop in randomly largely affected by TDS, drop a few posts of unintelligible drivel, get blasted, and look like an ass. Then, don't come around for a bit hoping people forget how really stupid you seem when you post.
