My IT recommendation here is to come up with a standard passphrase for all passwords going forward. Fairly complex, but the key is an actual phrase/long enough string you can remember, with the purpose being that it can satisfy PW requirements at it's base (complexity, length, etc). Example would be ThePadd0ck!5. Very tough to crack password or figure out with a password dictionary.

That password is likely good enough for any system. And once you start using it enough it will just be ingrained in your memory. You won't forget it because you use it for 30+ systems. Use it for your laptop/desktop password, too.. so you're using it 10 times a day.

Then, in the event of say Bank Of America needs something stronger, you can append the password. Here, you use your own standard for this. Maybe it's BOA (the companies initials) or BAN (first three of the company name).. and your password becomes ThePadd0ck!5BOA.

tl:dr: Get in the habit of using one long and complex string of characters for ALL your passwords, and then append them as needed if the system requires it, or you want more security. You'll need to reset your passwords far less once you're using this system.
