Allow me to expand on my prior post with an example.
Some on the left thought Jill Biden was a very talented medical doctor, despite the fact that she was called Dr by some because she only has an EdD. They did not care about her actual credentials. Some praised Biden for appointing men in dresses, even when one of those men was discovered to have a criminal fetish for other people’s luggage. They praised the hiring of a smart small town mayor as Secretary of Transportation, mainly based upon his sexuality and political affiliation to people who promote based on sexuality and race, rather than any understanding of his actual credentials.
I had no clue who Scott Bessent was before he came on the political radar as a possible Trump appointment. I asked my financial friends, many of whom are Christian, and they told me the man was brilliant and would make a great choice for the position.
I don’t know for whom Bessent voted in 2016 or 2020, or if he is a Libertarian, Dem, Independent, or Republican. But, despite the fact that the Alphabet Cult lyingly claimed Trump wanted to kill gay people, he was chosen for one of the most influential positions in any administration. I don’t remember the Alphabet Cult praising his hire, even though he checked a major box for them.
It proves that DEI is a lie. They don’t want DEI worthy candidates, they want candidates who bow to DEI. That is why Clarence Thomas is mocked as an affirmative action candidate and despised, rather than praised.
