For all the talk about "research" very few people actually understand it. Liberals as well as Conservatives (MAGA is not really a Conservative moment-members just don't embrace any particular political ideology other than authoritarianism) are quick to use research to draw broad reaching conclusions which may or may not have some degree of accuracy.
For instance, MAGA right-wingers may have limited vocabularies and may have access to fewer words so their communication is more generic at all times..not just when speaking to different individuals. Trump, according to many linguists and folks that study such things generally speaks at a fourth or fifth grade level, a vocabulary level that seems to resonate with his supporters and is not atypical to the language one finds on this board.

Perhaps already posted, but reading today that MTG isn't running for GA senate seat because Trump pollsters showed her that she'd be absolutely destroyed by incumbent Ossoff. Gov. Kemp would be competitive but not running. MTG is in the reddest GA house district. Net, Trump's team prefers winning with a more moderate Pub than losing with MTG.
To me, this shows MAGA's problem: They love absolutists like MTG, but her ilk doesn't come close to representing half the country's views. So Pubs run, or they win, relative moderates in a lot of places to gain seats. In turn these mods don't support MAGA extremism in Congress. So MAGA, 30-some % of country, becomes outraged that Congress didn't do exactly what they want and threaten to be done with politics/government - thereby helping assure fewer MAGA adherents win. Just can't accept that with some wins there will be losses too because of the overall nature of the country. Just can't handle it. And that's the way it is. Me, I can handle it even if I don't like it.
