He and band played for four (4) hours at the McCauley that night. The only other concert I ever attended that lasted that long was Wings at Riverfront Coliseum in 1976. It was four (4) hours, too. I saw a McCartney solo tour in Columbus that lasted 3.5 hours ...

I've got one Alcatraz story. My wife and I were vacationing in Sf, napa and the area fall break of 2001. We took the Alcatraz tour. It was interesting and I'm sure I learned a lot of factoids.
But, my only lasting memory is of the last 20 minutes of the tour. We were waiting for the ferry to take us back. The public restrooms were close by. The windows were heavily frosted, but you could see movement. There was this kabam, female screaking and then what seamed like the emptying of San Francisco Bay against the inside of those frosted windows.
I don't know what went on in there, but two Asian women came running out drenched. No one really reacted to that scene. It seemed like a sitcom. The ferry arrived, had to go and we didn't see the situation resolved. Fire hydrant force water was hitting that window until we left.
I still get an inner chuckle from others misfortune on that one.
It sucks. I still think the reason we've had some Navy vessels take a ton more damage than you would think due to a crash is because they were probably using Chinese steel. China just doesn't care about quality if it's not important to them. Hell, I saw where they are having buildings, bridges and other structures starting to fail do to poor steel as rebar and using dirty water or ocean water in their concrete. 25 year old stuff is crumbling.
I can't wait until AI takes jobs from lawyers.
