I have one friend irl that acts like that. He wasn't happy with the hire a year ago and has been waiting to pounce. It's like he didn't witness last season. I don't know who they expected us to hire. I'm pleased that the two others we offered didn't accept/show interest.
If American's compete one on one with an equal playing field I bet on American's every single time!!!

Same here. I worked my ass off for @ 45 years. I'm done unless I get REALLY bored, then I might consider going back to work PT, doing something fairly cushy like security or something. I don't foresee that happening anytime soon.
I'm going to enjoy my retirement as much as possible. I've got a mini library, so I can read anytime I wish ; I enjoy taking my dog on long walks, to the local parks, and just enjoying playing with him. I've got a nice big TV with more channels and apps than I'll ever use, but I do enjoy being able to watch a movie or documentary, until 1am if I so desire, without having to worry about getting to bed so I'll be well rested for work.
And then I've got my biggest passion: fishing. My son and I truly enjoy spending time together, and our favorite pastime is bass fishing. ( He doesn't know it, but I ordered him a new Abu Garcia rod and reel combo from Bass Pro. It was delivered about an hour ago.) He's at work now; he works weekends at a local restaurant, while being a FT college student. I can't wait until he gets home after while and I give him his new outfit, he's going to love it.
So yeah, life is good ; the hell with going back to work, lol.
If I'm being honest I'm not too thrilled myself, but I hope he proves me wrong.

They can send a man to a foreign prison without due process. Then later admit it was done in error. But they can't/won't try to undo their little oopsie, even when ordered to do so by a judge.

District court judges can’t order the head of the executive branch to negotiate with other heads of state in an attempt to get whatever the judge wants. That’s absolute lunacy.
What happens if the foreign head of state says no to what the judge wants? Can the judge order Trump to bomb them?

Oh, I agree. It is lunacy. Anyways…it IS just one innocent man. And they DID admit they shouldn’t have done it. So I guess I’m cool with it. Everyone should be cool with it. They should just say “sorry ‘bout that” and we can all just move on.
Because it wasnt an “ oopsie”, nor was it a mistake. The judge is trying to set a precedent where people departed can be brought back by the US govt.

The judge said he couldn’t be deported to El Salvador, his home country. That’s the reason the judge wants him back.
I can taste those delicious steaks already. The lack of tariffs really enhances the flavor, don't you think?

Your concern regarding trade partners becoming pass throughs for China is extremely valid. We know that China has, or is still, utilizing Mexico, Canada, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand to circumvent tariffs and trade restrictions.
We do have some measures in place to identify this issue and we do have options to curb and stop this practice.

Plus, I will put my trust in a billionaire who has proven he can run a company and a country which was proven in his first term (- covid) rather than an internet self-proclaimed know it all who has proven he doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.
They really have no other game plan (never had vs Trump) other than trying to create a boogie man for their base.
What do they stand for other than corruption and debauchery? They have no plan going forward for the country. Their only plan is to tax, take, and destroy.
