For years I’ve been telling these people I saw a marked shift in revenues in my consumer facing clients. Customers opting for lower tier goods over premium. Deferring discretionary luxury spend. Etc.
Middle America has been in a recession since the Covid money dried up. The Biden admin kept printing money which inflated the markets at the expense of the middle class. They pumped the jobs numbers with imported labor (illegal aliens under any other administration) and inflated government payrolls and jobs numbers.
Rather than letting the air out of the balloon that was inflated with government waste, Trump just popped it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she was surprised. Most of her voters were apparently shocked. The Internet geniuses on Reddit were absolutely stunned, even though the early voting numbers were devastating; I was expecting an even bigger beating than the one that actually happened.
