That spending looks almost like a perfect slope of 1*, which just points out the ridiculousness of education spending.

*meaning that for each increment of time (x axis) spending (y axis) increased in kind. Even by government standards, that level of funding increase is absurd. Even more so when you consider that what it was supposed to AID maintained a slope of ZERO. LOL

Only in the public sector can budget increases be so ridiculously "unbound" by the results. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Think of it this way: It's as if the Federal government was the Ford Motor Company, and it decided to build the Edsel (GOVERNMENT EDUCATION SPENDING) , but even after realizing it was a flop, it just decided, to never STOP building Edsel's. It just kept building MORE of them; BECAUSE...
Everything below the math was fine....👀

Friday around here is usually grocery shopping day. Can't wait. Been up since 5 in anticipation.
Will be buying EGGS! Maybe more than a dozen. Maybe two or three.
Thank you President Trump. I knew you could do it!!!!
Yay!!!!
Thank you Dear Leader for my economic beating!!! 🤡

"The S&P 500 is down 7.1% since Trump’s January 20th inauguration. The Index is 9.3% lower than its all-time high, achieved on February 19, 2025.

Jasmine Crockett used taxpayer dollars to lease a vehicle for $999/month for the last year.

It was the old "xxx,99" trick. She thought she was getting a steal. Well, it WAS a steal in the sense that we had to pay for it, but you get the dgrift..

Entirely wiped out with nary a radar signature registered... LOL

19 Fishbeds? really? Those radar systems won't even get "warmed UP" before all 19 are falling to the ground in pieces.

Much the same for the Fulcrums and Fitters, LOL

Fish in a barrell, and that is putting it mildly.

IOW, don't even BOTHER sending up the Raptors. It would be superfluous/showy...

This wasn't completely fair. Those 29's probably have the speed to run away. (unless we use F-15's then, not so much.

(Hoping for Lockheed Martin... although it'll probably come down to investment interests LOL

And I'm still not sure that Canada is an actual country TO THIS DAY. LOL Aren't they still "technically" part of the British Commonwealth?

1. Historical Ties

  • Colonial Past: Canada was a British colony until it became a self-governing dominion in 1867 through Confederation. It remained under British legislative authority until 1982.
  • Monarchy: Canada still recognizes the British monarch (currently King Charles III) as its official head of state. However, the monarchy is now entirely symbolic and operates independently in Canada.

2. Political Relationship

  • Independent Country: Canada is fully sovereign and governs itself. It gained full legislative independence from the UK with the Canada Act 1982.
  • Parliamentary System: Canada’s government is modeled after the British parliamentary system.

If Rick Pitino had never left, and was finishing out his career, still at Kentucky, how many more titles do you realistically think we'd have now?

I'd put it at +2 conservatively and +4 at the other end. So probably 11. If he had never left, I think we'd have 11 championships.
I've wondered this recently as well, however, I've also wondered if some of those personal problems he had at UofL would have happened here as well. Primarily the Karen Sypher type incident and not having knowledge of what his staff was doing (i.e. strippergate) Would he have exercised a bit more self-discipline that he seemed to lack at UofL?

Impeachment and conviction is the only recourse. I was only arguing that, IMO, defying a district judge probably is not Unconstitutional, but defying SCOTUS is.
My response to that is, TRUMP didn't break the Constitution. This is the fault of DISTRICT JUDGES and a LAZY, IRRESPONSIBLE SCOTUS.

Trump can easily stand on his soapbox and say, "YOU PEOPLE wrecked the Constitution, not ME." And just go on about his business.

Pretty quick with the deletion of this Fb post sent to me this morning...

Let's try another link from a different site
